Just spent a week here with a group of walkers. What a wonderful place! Set in the heart of the Picos, ideal for touring or walking this amazing area. Lovely staff, headed up by Sonia and Juan. Proper "alpine" feel to the place, I had a spacious room with great views. The food here is stunning and plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel & I can't wait to return.

Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Our room was street facing and apparently this is the only town in Spain where it gets noisy at 6am. Breakfast selection was very limited, but adequate.

However, the dinner there we had was fantastic. It was a very different menu than most places you walk into. We went crazy ordering a bunch of different stuff, and it was all made very very well. I would recommend stopping in here for the food. It's slightly pricey, but absolutely worth it.

Perfect place to have food while travelling to the mountains. Try the menu of the day, delicious and big portions.

I spent 6 nights with my son the first week in August 2018. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious - we must have eaten a whole cabrito between the 2 of us. We loved the cheese flanas well. The room was clean and well kept. Sotres is a lovely village and very well placed for hiking / walking in the Picos.

Excellent family run hotel and restaurant. A great place to base yourself for hiking in the Picos. The restaurant and bar are of excellent quality and guiding services (in English or Spanish) are available upon request.

Charming rural, historic hotel in beautiful mountain setting. Well maintained property with lively bar and excellent restaurant. Good, varied breakfast for Spanish standards.

Very, very nice staff and cook! Can only recommend the Entrecôte at this place!

5 estrellas es poco!!! Hace tiempo que no comimos una pizza tan tan rica como la de este sitio, esponjosa, crocante ( un aplauso al de la cocina !!!!!!) tortos deliciosos y la hamburguesa fenomenal!!! Se puede compartir los platos porque son abundantes, no llegamos al postre…
Atención rápida y muy amable

Menú a buen precio y muy bueno.
Cuidan bien del producto y de las salsas que acompañan la comida para hacer disfrutar al paladar.

Sin duda un lugar para repetir y probar su menú top y le excele te carta.

Estuvimos de paseo por la zona y nos metimos ha coger sitio para comer,nos atendieron muy bien,pedimos unas Alubias que estaban muy buenas,de segundo pedimos cabrito y sorpresa,será de los mejores que comí en mi vida,nos dijeron que era lechal de la zona,lo recomiendo al 200×100,es más,le pedí dos raciones para llevar para mis padres,puedo asegurar que repetiré, gracias por la atención

Buen sitio para descansar tras ruta por los Picos de Europa y comer algo rico

Es la primera vez que nos quedamos a dormir allí, pues otras veces solo habíamos cenado después de una buena ruta.
Servicio increíble.
Trato inmejorable.
Instalaciones bien cuidadas y limpias.
Y la comida… totalmente casera y buenísima!!!
No se puede pedir más.

Un sitio de referencia para comer bien y disfrutar de los Picos de Europa. Excelente relación calidad-precio en sus platos. Un trato agradable, amable y familiar. Todo es casero y de calidad. En sus paredes tienen fotos y objetos que son el testimonio de la historia de la región. Un sitio totalmente recomendable.

Estuvimos comiendo hoy y fue todo un acierto. El personal muy atento y amable y la cocina estupenda. No podéis dejar de probar la paletilla de cabritu y las costillas de cerdo al horno.
Estaba muy lleno y aun así nos atendieron rápido y muy bien. Recomendable al 100%.
Volveremos sin duda

la comida espectacular, la hamburguesa es de lo mejor que he probado y la pasta al cabrales de 10.
