I’ve never known such a rude store.
There was an AP on display, which I walked in to enquire on.
The price I was told was too cheap, by a long way, so I naturally asked questions regarding the history of the watch.

I was greeted with “if you are here to buy the watch, then I will tell you”.

The price he told me is cheaper than listed on their website. If he has said the correct price to begin with, my questions would have been different, and probably have returned the next day to buy, but good luck!

Update: Thanks for taking the time to reply, and whilst your account of the encounter I had with you is the same as I have written, it doesn’t counter for the rude manor of your staff.

I didn’t ask about the movement or functions of the watch, as I already know everything there is about that model of watch. As with most buyers of such a timepiece, I am very familiar with the piece.

I understood that you couldn’t disclose the name of the original owner, but that is not what I asked. I asked the history. “I stole it off the back of a truck” was the answer I was given.

I’ve purchased a number of timepieces now from none AD’s, based upon finding good deals to complete there and then, but your shop does not invite this type of custom whatsoever.
