Hostal Albergue Moratinos

Such kind and sweet people. I had my pack sent to the wrong place, and they kindly brought it to the next village for me free of charge. I have never been treated with more kindness on the Camino. Thank you!

What a frienly people. Grandma running the bar. De whole family was helping. It was very cold outside in the end of march. But the room was warm!! En what a room. A lot of space. And very claen. You can get breakfast and good coffee. All a peligrino needs; food, a warm bed and attention. Than you¹

What a friendly and helpful people at this hostel. I had to check this hostel spontenously for my parents during their camino! Super nice and kind people as well as nice condition of rooms!

We traveled as a group of seventeen and never felt so welcome as we did in this albergue. This family took such great care of us all. The food and drinks here were all homemade - including homemade radlers with beer and fresh lemon. They wash laundry for you, you just pay per load and hang your stuff up to dry yourself. The hosts were so friendly and fun. We’d all recommend this place for sure!

One of those rare moments where you don't need a common language to see people are decent. I felt so comfortable and at ease with the business family and surroundings I wished to have stayed longer. But I will return.

The pilgrims meal was exceptional for the price. Home food.
The private room comfortable and spotlessly clean.

The best place since St Jean and that includes the 4* Monesterio Condes, because the Moratinos has a relaxed vibe commercialism could not capture.

I came here as a last resort, as the hostel I had booked wasn’t what I was looking for.

I could get a nice room here for a very little price. The Owner ist helpful beyond everything you would expect. They cleaned m laundry, fed me, made me coffee and gave me overall the feeling to be with friends instead of business partners.

The room is cozy, the bathroom clean, there are enough towels, soap and what else you need.

I would call if a gem along the Camino. And although there is no luxury to expect I give 5 stars with the filth for the hospitality towards me.

This cozy Albergue has left the best impressions! Truly Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation. I recommend to everyone! An excellent place to rest on your way to Santiago!

Great place for overnight stop en route to ferry. Family and dog friendly. Fantastic dinner and super breakfast to set us all up for onward journey. Friendly staff who spoke perfect English. Set in beautiful countryside on Camino. Great value and well recommended.

Beautiful, clean, newly renovated room with glass doors that look over the meseta, the Camino de Santiago and a field of sunflowers. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Owners are kind and the food is homemade and delicious. I arrived early and my room was available. Right across from the hostel are bodegas you can climb up and see beautiful views. Highly recommend!

Easily the nicest albergue I've stayed in so far on the Camino. The room and bed were comfortable and clean, the view from the window pleasant and the staff very friendly. I was lucky enough to arrive early here and had the joy of spending a whole day relaxing and enjoying the delicious home-cooked meals.

Awesome alburgue in the middle of farm land. Even better, THEIR FOOD IS DELICIOUS! We had a cream pasta with bacon and pepper and it was hands down one of the best meals I have had on the Camino. We also had a pork loin plate with pepper, egg, fries, and chorizo and it was delicious. For dessert, we got the lemon cream which tasted like the inside of a yummy lemon meringue. We stayed in a room with four beds and a tv, and the two of us had the room to ourselves! Comfortable mattresses, real sheets, and a nice bathroom with a big shower.

Stayed here while on El Camino with my son. We were in Heaven with our beautiful room and en suite. The meal was one of the best we had on our whole Camino. Loved it and great value.

Kind and nice hospitalero. Dinner and breakfast are good tasty. The albergue is also good to stay.

I stopped for a moment while walking the street. I enjoyed hot coffee and delicious toast. It was really good.

The warmest room on the winter camino! Clean - real - sheets. Really tasty food and vine! VEGAN OPTIONES! Hospitalieros very friendly! Recomended!!

The bar and the coffee con leche was also nice. They have a stamp also and a gratis stamp with a beautiful and very nice red heart. Don’t miss!
