Absolutely worth the trip. No need to do the extended drive, the shorter 45 minute circuit is enough to see the main formations. Stop off to see the Cuevas Rurales on the way - neither destination costs money. Quite unique and although the track isn't surfaced, the pace is slow and the road easy enough.

Very nice trip to do by car from the visitors center. 1.5-2 hours, but more if you stop for a hike at the cabezo de castildetierra.
The circle road is in the blanca baja around the military area.
You can do it by bike but is dusty on the tarred road with the cars.
Hiking trails are very limited, mainly in a small canyon at the cabezo. Nice walk!
Very nice area to discover!
The road to la blanca alta was closed at the time of our visit

Super helpful and worth visiting the reservation if you have a bit of time. We only had an hour or so, hence we took the shortest route. But would love to go back and visit it all.

They gave us the explanation about the desert and the routes. There is only one place to have something to eat on the whole terrain. The route takes about two hours.
