Restaurante la Zaranda

Group of 12 for lunch on a day when La Zaranda is normally closed! The owner offered to open for us, but little did he know that on the day,when he arrived one of his refrigerators had failed! He rang me full of apologies, and I thought we will have to look for somewhere else for lunch. Not a bit of it! On the spur of the moment, we were presented with the most remarkable food - presentation and quality unrivalled.
This is a truly remarkable restaurant - some if the group's 3 rd visit. Strongly recommended.

Went for lunch on Sunday they are busy so book in advance we saw lots of people turned away. The food and service was excellent do not miss this authentic tapas bar experience! We have told everyone we know to visit if they can. Great menu and loved our wines from Bodega Barahonda which is situated just outside the town. First class memorable meal.

Its a def 5*+ for this new discovery ..... thanks to la zaranda for our spot on food tonight good choice well cooked and presented ..... oh and fist class service ....... we will be back

I went with friends and the restaurant was fully booked. They very kindly found us a table and the lovely waitress helped us with recommendations. It was one of the best meals I have had in Spain, and I live here. Three of us shared two starters: the morcilla with avacadobwas superb and the fried cheese amazing. Next we had secured to with coñac and honey followed by pork in red wine. Everything was incredible. Fantastic desserts, again 2 between three the brownie and the cheesecake mousse just tasted brilliant. Washed down with a fabulous bottle of local wine. All of this for 24€ a head. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone

4 of us, including my child, went for dinner here last night and we had such a wonderful evening. The lady who looked after us was so lovely, I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. We have already booked to go back next week. The food was spectacular and the atmosphere was very cheerful. Muchas Gracias Zaranda 😍

What a great little restaurant. Tapas was excellent and then the steak 🥩. Wow, all prepared and cooked to perfection. Excellent value as well. Give it a bash you won't be disappointed 👍😀❤❤❤

We’ve never had a disappointing meal at la Zaranda. Staff very helpful and friendly - Paloma is lovely and will speak English and Spanish when we visit. Food is amazing

Great atmosphere

Excelente relación calidad-precio. Acertamos al elegir este restaurante para comer en Yecla durante sus fiestas de diciembre. El servicio eficaz, atento y amable, ambiente muy agradable y los platos muy ricos, destacamos el foie con manzana y el solomillo de ternera, así como sus postres caseros, deliciosos. 100% recomendable.

Comida espectacular, en especial el lingote de foie y el pulpo gratinado. El brioche de costillar un descubrimiento y el rabo de toro un imprescindible. De postre pedimos una pannacota que estaba brutal y una tarta de manzana. Servicio excelente y calidad/precio súper bien. Muy recomendable.

Tanto el sitio y el servicio como la comida, excelentes. Fuimos a la ruta de la tapa y tenían una variante vegana. La camarera, muy amable, lo explicó muy bien. Muy recomendado. Volveré.
