Bosque encantado de Higueras

I waited 3 or more years to go due to various reasons including covid and also because of the concern with the access from what I had heard. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that the 2km of track was actually fine - no deep ruts or high clearance vehicle needed at all. In the car park was an old Renault 4 as well as a 3-series BMW which does not have much ground clearance. Parking was plentiful despite it being a busy Friday in mid August (20th).
The areas to paddle your feet in the area of the enchanted fig forest were much more than I had imagined. Access was easy and the choices of places to go varied. There were all variety of beautiful areas with water.
This is a spectacularly beautiful place to spend a couple of hours or a day, complete with picnic benches if you wish to bring food.
Highly recommended.

Quiet place to relax because not many peoplecome here. There are a few short paths that go next to or around a river. The river itself is a little green because of the seaweed but not because of dirt. The water here is very clean.

We had been planning to visit this beauty Spot for a long time and it was well worth the wait. The drive is down a track,, fairly steep in places, but all okay in a normal car. There is parking once at the end close to the river. There are paths and picnic tables. Different areas to enjoy the river to paddle or swim in the crystal clear cold water. Explore both down and upstream.

Great relaxing place. A real step drive down to the parking facilities. Very tranquil place to go. Paths by the river were ok, but not suitable for wheelchairs. Well maintained part of the natural park

So tranquil and beautifully quiet!! So well kept and clean!! Water is ICE cold!! Take a picnic and it's a perfect place to spend the day with friends or loved ones.

We couldn't get icer how beautiful and different this forest is.

Expectacular.

Sitio fantástico, el camino para llegar un poco estrecho. Bajamos con la Camper y rezamos para que no nos viniera algún coche de frente. El aparcamiento sin embargo es gigante, caben perfectamente 30 coches.

Jamás me hubiera pensado que existía un paraje así tan cerca de mi residencia.
Cuenta con zona de pesca y un amplísimo aparcamiento, a un lado hay una alameda preciosa.
Este bosque cuenta con una senda muy bonita, hay varios puentes que pasan por encima del río Guadalintín.
En toda esta ruta circular hay muchas higueras muy antiguas, las cuales brindan un ambiente bucólico que hace que no quieras abandonar el lugar.
Se puede seguir la ruta y conectar con otra que discurre por el margen del río.
Es un lugar con encanto, todo está muy limpio. Por favor, si lo visitáis, contribuid en mantener el sitio limpio. Gracias

Me ha impresionado el sitio, su paisaje con su sorprendente naturaleza. El agua muy limpia y transparente. Para volver. Tiene merenderos para pasar una tarde acogedora entre naturaleza.

Una zona preciosa para dar un paseo, zona de río con acceso directo a pequeñas pozas de agua fría y cristalina. El ambiente tiene un olor característico que dan las higueras al pasear entre ellas a través de las diferentes pasarelas de madera. Hay una zona de picnic con mesas tipo merendero para poder echar el día. Zona muy familiar.

Ruta circular muy cerca de Pozo Alcon, muy fácil de hacer.
Si desean ir con niños no presenta ninguna dificultad.
La ruta se hace al lado del río con aguas cristalinas y muy frías, en un entorno espectacular, más bien es un paseo tranquilo y relajante donde el ruido del agua te envuelve.

Un sitio para relajarse con mesas para pasar el día con la familia o para hacer senderismo

Zona muy bonita para pasear y darse un chapuzón en el agua fresca del río. Hay varios tramos y pozas donde meterse, la mayoría de ellos de poca profundidad. Perfecto para uno de estos días de calor.
