Villa Magalean Hotel & Spa

We spent one night and enjoyed the spa and massage service. It was absolutely perfect. The room was light and spacious, equipped with an espresso machine, Bluetooth radio, smart TV, and a tablet. Great location, very close to the sea shore and the old town in Hondarribia. The service was the best I have ever encountered. All the staff were nice, helpful and very attentive. We will definitely go back again!

We spent three nights at this lovely place. It has only 8 rooms and we had been upgraded. The whole place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The bed was huge and amazingly comfortable. The bathroom was large with separate shower and bath. Lots of comfortable places to sit in the lounge and garden and conservatory. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommended.

What a gem! The Villa Magalean is a beautiful, small hotel, perfectly situated less than a 10 minute walk up to the old town or to the center of this lively seaside town. The staff is wonderfully helpful and accommodating and the rooms are comfortable, quiet and luxuriously furnished. Breakfast is delicious and dinner in the restaurant spectacular! We ate very well in Hondarribia but if I'd had dinner here earlier in my stay, I might not have gone anywhere else! If you have time for a massage, get one-- Carmen is terrific and the spa circuit is very relaxing. The only thing I would change is to book a longer stay! Thank you to the the two Martas, Nerea, Maite, and Suzanne for making our stay special! We will definitely return to Villa Magalean!

We are staying here right now and this hotel is incredible. Amazing rooms, comfortable beds, and the service is wonderful. You feel special staying here as a guest and every staff member is so kind. Massages and spa (including steam room/sauna) were also great!

I spent a weekend with my husband in Villa Magalean. The hotel is very elegant, nicely decorated, better equipped than many boutique hotels l've been to. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable, so much that we asked for the brand of the beds! The staff prepare the room for the night by opening the beds and closing the curtains which is a very nice touch. The hotel has a small but very nice spa with Cinq Mondes products. We had a nice massage and enjoyed the sauna for a bit. It's hard to find bad food in the Bask Country, but the breakfast in the hotel was amazing! We could choose what we want from the night before to have a personalized breakfast. Last but not least, the staff were very friendly and professional. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic hotel in every way - best place to stay in Hondaribbia. Ambiance very pleasant, staff attentive, Mahasti wine bar had fantastic food and wine. 5 stars all round. We’ll be back

Maravilloso hotel, habitación de lujo(Baluarte de la reina) amplia y con una decoración exquisita, no le falta detalle alguno.El baño impresionante: ducha, bañera y WC, todo separado y hasta tiene balcón.
Ambiente muy relajado,con solo 8 habitaciones consiguen tratar al huesped excepcionalmente.
No pudimos disfrutar del restaurante, ya ques estaba cerrado durante nuestra estancia, no obstante nos hicieron excelentes recomendaciones.
Personal muy atento y amable, grandes profesionales. Marchamos con ganas de volver.

Exceptionnel, merveilleux, extraordinaire, formidable, bref tous les superlatifs peuvent être employés tant ce lieux et son personnel vous font voyager dans une parenthèse féerique.Vous évoluez dans un havre de paix et savourez chaque instant ....Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable dans cette demeure de caractère avec une âme, une histoire et une authenticité remarquable. Elle a été réhabilité en un hôtel majestueux avec un charme époustouflant et doté d'une décoration apportée avec un goût et un soin tout particulièrement exceptionnel. Le mobilier d'une élégance et d'un raffinement remarquable lui procure un cachet et un supplément d'âme ahurissant. Cet hôtel classé 4 étoiles en vaut 5 , nous lui attribuont la note de 5 étoiles ( le maximum ) mais il en vaut 6.
Nous reviendrons très vite tellement nous avons été choyés et tellement votre gentillesse et votre délicatesse nous manque déjà !

Las habitaciones preciosa y muy bonitas decoradas. Ambiente tranquilo. El trato formidable. Tomamos desayuno y cena en el hotel y todo estaba exquisito. Tiene una buena situación y no hemos tenido problemas con el aparcamiento. Llevamos años siendo clientes y sin duda volveremos.

Un hotel boutique con muchísimo encanto y decorado muy buen gusto, probablemente la mejor opción para dormir en Hondarribia. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y preciosas, al igual que los baños. Además el servicio es súper atento y te da buenas recomendaciones para comer. El desayuno también muy rico.

Fuimos al spa y fue totalmente una maravilla. Fue una gran experiencia de principio a fin, el servicio súper simpático además de que tienen unas manos mágicas para hacer masajes.

La ducha de sensaciones realmente dio muchas sensaciones.

Volveremos!

Hemos estado este pasado fin de semana en este maravilloso hotel, muy muy limpio todo, la habitación de ensueño, con todos los detalles posibles y una cuidada decoración. El personal amabilísimo, en especial Marta que nos atendió genial, la cena y el desayuno riquísimo. Hondarríbia nos ha parecido precioso, volveremos a repetir sin duda. Gracias por el trato.
