Bar El Puente

One of the better place on the Camino France to get breakfast. Very good menu with fresh food and drinks.

The food here was perfect. I ordered the pizza and it was fast and tasty. The sitting area in the back was beautiful and there were some chickens wandering around which improved the mood.

Delightful place with a beautiful garden area. Great to relax with a cup of coffee in the cool garden area and watch the chickens and other birds roaming about.

Had a beer or two and they gave me a big side of chips (crisps). I enjoyed the atmosphere and the views. It was raining so sat inside but it was still enjoyable and comfortable

A lovely cafe to start the day, the garden has colorful birds roaming freely. The breakfast was amazing and served with a smile, everyone also got given a lollipop with their orders which gives a nice little touch to the service.

Excellent tortilla delivered, lovely guy, free lollipop for pilgrims, what more do you want.

Had a tasty tortilla and coffee for breakfast here. They open early, not sure what time but I was here at 7am. Lovely terrace with ample seating.

Excellent stop for breakfast after a long, boring stretch from Villadongas. Great coffee, fresh orange juice and tasty pastries. Bonus: there are chickens out back in the garden!

On your pilgrimage from Leon to Astorga, just before a Roman Bridge from ages ago, stop for a coffee at the garden of this bar...

Paco (who is the owner) was SO nice. I went late on a Sunday evening for dinner and the kitchen had closed but he gave me a lot of free pinchos with my wine and little donuts for free when I left! 😫🥰 SUCH a nice man. Plus you can get a stamp for your credencial! Embodiment of Spanish hospitality toward the pelegrino.

Little paradise! Don’t be too focused on the bridge. It is just before the bridge on your right. Well hidden backyard 😍

Great bar, great garden, stopped for morning coffee and pastry, could have sat here all day. And ducks and hens wandering around outside! And don’t forget to get a stamp :)

For those on the Way. Do yourself a favor... Get a basic salad, pizza, and wine.
Enjoy the chickens.

Huge, good coffees 2 for 3€. Friendly guy, cool chickens. He was slow but was going about his morning open.
