Bar Guillermo

This is very typical local restaurant. Small, little dark and crowded during lunch and dinner time. If I wasn't with my native friends I couldn't have this experience. The staffs are so humorous and exhilarating. The foods are also good. I recommend Olleta Alicante.

A true gem in Alicante! Bar Guillermo has been serving wonderful home-cooked goodness since 1957, and it shows. The nostalgic ambiance and old-fashioned service made us feel right at home. The food was comforting and delicious, just like a homemade meal from grandma's kitchen. It's rare to find places like this nowadays, and we left with full hearts and satisfied taste buds. Highly recommended for a heartwarming dining experience.

Very nice atmosphere and good local food. I recommend croquets with ham. Kindly staff 🙂

Very nice old fashioned bar.
It helps a lot if you speaks Spanish.
Enjoy some of the tapas and try some of the local speciality’s.

What a great bar ,met a guy who had worked in Jersey in the sixties where I'd worked and a guy who'd DJ for 50 years - drank some chin chon and finished with tapas- pretty good !!

El personal en el bar es totalmente amable. Atienden rápido y el ambiente se siente acogedor y familiar. Aquí tuve el primer almuerzo de mi visita a Alicante y no pudo ser mejor. La comida es muy buena, 100% recomendada. 😉

Un sitio de los de toda la vida que mantiene la gran calidad de su producto. Tanto para picotear como para hacer una comida más formal, es un sitio con el que aciertas seguro. Dos cervezas, media de calamares y dos croquetas (una de jamón y otra de bacalao) 13€. Los calamares fresquísimos, la croqueta de bacalao de las de verdad, notas perfectamente el bacalao. Y la de jamón, grande y muy cremosa y ligera.

Fuimos a cenar tarde y todo lo que pedimos estuvo sabroso. En cuanto al servicio, todas las mesas de abajo estaban ocupadas (arriba el comedor estaba cerrado), fue lento, pero no le pongo una estrella de menos porque la chica que nos atendió, cada vez que pasaba, muy amablemente, se disculpaba por el retraso, y porque no teníamos prisa en cenar. La relación calidad precio adecuada. Repetiré para probar toda la carta.

Bar típico muy cerca del mercado Central. Las tapas están todas buenísimas sin duda la ensaladilla rusa es insuperable de las mejores de Alicante. El personal es muy agradable y atento.👍
