Restarante el Cortijo de Zahara

We came for lunch and were told by the police (who were chilling at the door), that it was a great place to eat.
We trusted them and they were right.
The kitchen serves mainly maroccan food.
We had the avocado/tomato salad as well as the braised lamb leg. Both were really tasty.
The waiters were very friendly and the communication worked without us speaking good Spanish.
Would definitely recommend.

We found this restaurant 'by accident' walking around, we looked inside and liked it, so sad down for dinner. And we were positively surprised. A single waiter offering immediate and respectful service, and we were not the only guests. The food was wonderful, typical Spanish food from the area, very tasty. The prices are normal, the portions are good. Only the fire place wasn't on as there was no more fire wood...

A must to eat ...an incredible Moroccan restaurant, with amazing of Zahara views on the terrace and two different ambients insiste: tea salón and restaurant with fireplace! Lovely staff and the food...feel the flavours of Morocco in your mouth for a great price. Try o regret !

Next to traditional Spanish cuisine, they offer Arabic / Maroccan dishes. These are really worth to try.

Fantastic and calm space to eat outside with a beautiful view! We tried the vegan options they have (not marked as vegan on the menu): tajin with vegetables and cous cous with vegetables. Really good!! Everything topped with friendly service!

Great bar / restaurant in a beautiful village. We all had great tapas. I particularly enjoyed the fried goats cheese in a strawberry jam. The skewers were also v good. Friendly staff and a great setting.

After a long walk in Zahara de la Sierra, I decided not to eat in the main plaza. Lucky me! Ive had the Best meal after 10 days in Spain. 14 euros for 2 people and a PERFECT couscus con pollo and two beers. Very nice service too! I couldnt be happier to continue our trip!

An interesting experience. Nice food, friendly staff and good atmosphere. The touch of Moroccan culture was nice, including the presentation as well as the Moroccan tea that was served. Food was reasonably priced.

We had a memorable meal here. Very friendly service, and a lovely view. I had the rabo de toro, which was one of the very best meals I had during our trip through Andalucia.

We had 2 different tahins (fish & meatballs) both were very good. Enjoyed sunny terrace in January.
