This was a gorgeous hike. Parking in the town is limited. There are lots of people on thr trail. Water levels were low when we were there, but the views were still gorgeous. No restrooms, lots or dogs on trail. The village of Rupit was gorgeous.

The hiking here is beautiful. Great opportunity to catch some fresh air. Not too many visitors, so little need for masks. The town of Rupit was very beautiful also. Try to go after the rains to watch the waterfall come to life.

Very nice place to visit for a one day excursion with family. It is the highest waterfall in Catalunya (100 meters). You can enjoy the views of the canyon from the top of the waterfall, or even take a dip in the fresh water, or walk a bit further up beyond the top of the fall and see the waterfall in its full glory from a nice vantage point (mirador). On the way to the fall and back you will pass through a beautiful and picturesque town called Rupit, where you can stop and have lunch/coffee. The access to the fall is super easy and there is a parking to leave the car. The fall is about 10 minutes walk from the parking, following the dirt path. Finally, it goes without saying that, as with any other place amidst nature, it is important to be cautious and respect the norms.

Very interesting place with special atmosphere. The height of the mountain and sightseeing is breathtaking. I come back here very often and every time I get new emotions.
I recommend this place and I insist to save our nature! A lot of masks and cans are just thrown away on the road. If you go there just take your rubbish with you. Save this place for you in future and others.
A few words I want also to say about Rupit. The city frozen in medieval times. Magic and thrilling. I love it!
Thank you!

While the water on the main drop was not significant, there was some water flowing further upstream on another falls. It is worth a hike to get a sense of how much of a drop is here! The hike is about 4-5 km roundtrip and you can start in Rupit.

Beautiful place. Easy 20 minute walk from the car park or you can walk directly from the town along one of 2 routes which I imagine takes around 1 hour.

Rupit in general is a great place as if taken out of a Disney fairytale. Salt de Sallent is an amazing waterfall and view, just about 30 minutes from Rupit. Note that the way is maybe short but not too easy, and the way back is up hill. In a sunny day it can be quite demanding so come prepared.

Unexpected big waterfall with a nice open view to the valley below, the town (Rupit) also offers options for eating, it is a nice circular route and easy for those who want to walk by

One of the most spectacular views in the whole of Catalunya! The trail through the forest is amazing and couldn't end in a better way! The 120 meter tall waterfall and the cliffs are nature in full splendor! Astonishing!

This is Catalunya's highest waterfall of some 95 mts and is situated in between the Collsacabra and Guillerias mountain ranges. It is a few kms south of the chocolate-box village of Rupit. There is a trail from the village to the mirador, but if you want to see the waterfall from the base, you'll have to find one of the trails down the cliff face of the "Cingles de Rupit". If you're into hiking, a good day out is from Sant Marti Sacalm to the castle ruins at Fornils and along forest trails to the base of the waterfall. Climb up the Cliff face at the base of the waterfall (not for those with vertigo) and along the cingles de Rupit to El far and climb down the cliff face again back too the car, either at El Galeró or at El Far. Round trip.... 30km ish. Top day out :)

A 30 minute walk along a footpath from the village square (Placa Mayor) of Rupit leads you to the very edge of a 90 metre cliff where the stream tumbles to the valley below. A path then leads to a viewpoint (Mirador) where you can take in the full drop of the waterfall and the amazing views to the south.

Beautiful! Nice walk from a lovely town. The roads on the way up are great and twisty, really good fun to rag around in your hire car

Lovely and impressive view of a cliff with a fall. Very misty and rural. You can see many birds including eagles.

This is a must see. Period. Nature at its best! Take decent walking shoes and plan enough time. It is a good walk to the big fall.
