Sara is an incredible host and an even better chef! She should open her own restaurant! Her homemade, local, healthy, vegetable centric 5 course dinner was so delicious, artful, and nourishing on our second day of the Camino. I didn’t take photos but you will have to take my word for it. It’s an intimate setting with 12 guests max (in 3 or 4 rooms, either dorm or private) so you really get to know your fellow pilgrims and enjoy the space together. The backyard garden was the perfect place to relax. There is a sunny clothes line to hang your clothes after washing by hand with the detergent provided. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Thank you Sara!

A must stay if you like good healthy food! The hostal is immaculately clean, hot showers and even shampoo! Beds are quite comfy. The best part is meeting Sara and enjoying her gourmet dinner that is a bargain for what she serves. The healthiest food I've had on the Camino so far. Sara is a lovely person and really cares about her guests. I recommend this place 1000%!

Loved this albergue! What a nice oasis with a garden to dry the clothes and to relax. Sara, the lovely owner, is a fantastic cook. Highly recommended to eat the pilgrims‘ menu. I got a vegetarian option which was amazing. Best place to stay in in Zubiri.

I was blown away by this place and by Sara, the amazing, talented and sweetest host you will ever meet on the Camino. The rooms were spotless, bright and modern. If you book the double room, there is even a large bathtub to soak your tired muscles. The food, THE FOOD!!! Not taking the demi pension is a crime. Sara is a world class cook and whipped out a meal that was amazing: taste, variety, presentation. I thought I was at a high end restaurant. I can go on and on but on a scale of 10, this was an eleven. Oh yes, she does your laundry too. Thank you Sara, this was an unbelievable experience. Book this place when you stay in Zubiri. You will not regret it.

The host (Sara) is warm, kind, and friendly. Took time to patiently answer all our questions. The layout of the albergue fosters a communal spirit. Rooms were clean, and comfortable. Had the best rest there.

Wonderful experience in this cosy Hostel Suseia. The host Sara was so kind, loving, warm and helpful. She really touched my heart 💓

We had the whole hostel for ourselves, group of 12. Sara prepared dinner for us and was even willing to make exceptions for the 2 vegetarians in our group. How lovely!

The accomodation, beds, showers were good, and I remember to sleep well during the night after the tough, long day walking.

Breakfast was prepared in beautiful boxes, with our names on.

So convenient!

Amazing hostel on the camino frances! The host Sara was fantastic, quickly replying for the last minute booking on whatsapp, cooking an amazing vegetarian dinner, being very kind overall and giving tips for pamplona. The dorm rooms and private rooms where both clean and light, there is a quiet garden with space for laundry, a laundry corner and optional use of machines, and excellent shower. Can definitely recommend to fellow pilgrims!

Sara was a brilliant host, cooked vegan food specifically for me and went out of her way to get me non-alcoholic beers.

Such an amazing experience.

This is an excellent stay in Zubiri!! The lounge areas are beautiful and well equipped (even leather lazy boys!) and the staff are kind and helpful. There breakfast is delicious and ingenious- they leave it out in tubs the night before so you can get up whenever you want and be on your way. Zubiri was a hard day, as I imagine it might be for many. You’re coming to terms with the physical demands of walking 12-15 miles a day and your body hasn’t yet adjusted. Their kindness and beautiful space gave me the strength to continue!

This was in our top 5 of places we stayed along the Camino De Santiago. Sarah was such a gem, the rooms were impeccable, and the dinner was one of the best we enjoyed a long The Way. Sarah's beet gazpacho was amazing. We did not mind at all walking a bit of the path to reach this small hostel, it was so worth it. After a long hiking day into Zubiri, we were beyond grateful to find this slice of heaven.

The hostess of the albergue was simply GOLD, because we did not have accommodations in any of the albergues in town, all was full, Suseia was the last one, where 1 bed was available. The owner did not leave us on the street, she found an opportunity to put an extra bed. We really appreciated it. Thank you very much! Thirsty piligrims were welcomed with refreshing home made lemonade. The albergue had everything you need, shampoo, shower gel and toilet paper. I can also mention the delicious dinner prepared by the hostess herself, everything was so delicious. Even wine from a family winery. And a breakfast box with rich content goodies was prepared for us. You could feel the hostess's love in everything.
Mucha gracias!

Sara is the best possible host, always helpful with tired pilgrims and taking pride in her work. The whole place is spotless, well equipped (you can also either hand or machine wash your clothes), and do book the communal evening meal. It's cooked by her and every course is just delicious. Perfect ending to a long day. Gracias por todo, Sara!

Fantastic place! We were so glad that we found it. It's very nice & clean with all the comfortable amenities that a pilgrim would want and or desire. You get a towel & blanket during your stay. You have the option of renting a locker with an charging station inside for 1€ and using the laundry for 3€. They have a clothes line outside (with cloth pins!) to dry your clothes. The seating area outside is beautiful & shaded, a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Snacks and or treats can be purchased in the vending machine. Breakfast is included and dinner is optional at 13€. Purchase the dinner, (the Vegetarian option was lovely & filling)!! It's fantastic! We loved this place and Alex was a gem! What a restful stay.

What makes this place so special is Sarah, who runs it! She is very helpful, calm, and a fabulously chef! The dinner was superb. The place itself is beautiful, clean and modern with lovely common areas inside and out.
