Cal Garretà

The perfect stop in the middle of nowhere. Incredible food with local ingredients cooked in a fireplace-grill with excellent technique and care. We sat under the sun and ate A LOT attempting to try as many dishes as possible, ranging from artichokes with jamon to a platter of fillet with lots of fresh truffle, and a perfectly cooked chuleton to top it off. The staff were as friendly as it gets and we got to stand by the grill/outdoor kitchen and chat with the chef who was so passionate about the ingredients and putting so much care in eveything he did. As wholesome as it gets in the beautiful Catalan countryside.

Wow. Not your typical Catalan cuisine. Your taste buds will be happy and so will your belly because the portions are not small.

This is the best place to taste the typical regional food : patata enmascarada and black peas. Quite old and quaint place with a great terrace by a chill lake. Easy parking and nice service. Fav restaurant in the berga area!

Todo un descubrimiento!!!! Un lugar muy acogedor donde comer y respirar aire puro. El personal es muy amable y la comida un 10. Todo exquisito y en su punto. Recomiendo llamar para asegurarse una mesa y hay parking gratuito, así que es un puntazo. Cerca del restaurante hay una laguna hermosa donde poder dar una paseo. Recomendado… volvemos

Потрясающее место – однозначно стоит того чтобы доехать. Очень вкусная еда, мясо нежнейшее, готовят прямо при тебе. Улитки – отдельное блаженство, таких вкусных ещё не пробовал нигде до этого. Крема каталана также супер. Отдельный совет – попробуйте местную ратафию 😉 Рядом есть прекрасный пруд с лебедями и цветущими деревьями 🌺

De los mejores sitios del Berguedà para comer, calidad suprema, el jefe super enrollado, una experiencia inolvidable.

É un posto bellissimo. Mai vista la energia che hanno tutti. Siamo stati nel terrazzo e abbiamo mangiato dei “filete con trufa” che io non sapevo come era il vero gusto finché ho mangiato il primo taglio. Grazie a tutti, specialmente al “asador” Joan. Arriveranno anche i miei amici. 🤩

La carta és super reduïda però tot i així es suficientment bona com per menjar 2 plats i quedar a gust.
En un principi, un és pot espantar pel preu però en realitat val molt la pena pagar pel que es menja i més notant l'essència de la zona.

L'entrecot super bo 😋 i recomanable 100%

Un detall bo és el pa: calent, cruixent i bo. És queia la baba quan es menjava 😋
