I cannot recommend this place enough! We were a group of 12 people. And each one of us had the best meal here while in Andalucia! The restaurant has a nice cozy vibe, even if it’s within a cave. Lovely staff, helped with photos of the menu. And the kitchen is open. Fried cheese with gem was heaven on earth :) The digestive liquor and coffee at the end was just perfect to end an our long day.
I hope you have time to visit the cute town of Setenil de las Bodegas.

A traditional and classy Spanish cafe-bar in the cave, in a typical local fashion, with expected cavy-interior.
Fast service and amazing beverages with further gastronomy options.

Atmospheric whether you sit inside or outside. Food was really good, especially the goats cheese salad, which was huge and full of nuts and fruit. Staff efficient

Small restaurant with terrace! Delicious food (meat specialties+fish specialities) even the menu is not so various! Service is friendly and very fast and prices are so small (one beer = 1.80 euro). Worth to make a visit and have a best meal!

Although they had just run out of the XL calamari that we wanted to try, I had a great grilled octopus with a delicious sauce and a nice desert.

My second time visiting Setenil and eating at this place, where again...the food and service were exceptional!
The refreshing air inside the restaurant, outside being 40 degrees, the waiting time for your order being very short, the politeness of the staff, all these are small aspects besides the delicious taste of the food. I heartily recommend the meat dishes, but the garlic prawn croquettes were also delicious, accompanied by a refreshing goat cheese salad.
The cheese tart (Tarta de Queso) as here I have never eaten anywhere else is absolutely insane!!! 🤤

PS: Go dressed lightly because the portions are in large quantities and we didn't leave any leftovers on the plate 🫣

Fantastic experience. It was the only thing open by the time we arrived. This was one of our favourite meals in Andalucía! Great, rapid service from the waiters and delicious food. We had the croquetas and pork knuckle and were impressed by both.

I enjoyed taking a seat at your charming, little bar during my trip to Ronda. Your coffee is great! The toilets are clean and overall the layout of the establishment is quite cozy. I wish I had more time to stay inside and try out some food from your menu as well.

I definitely recommend stopping by and having a morning cup of coffee here 😉👍

I really enjoyed it! So... Winter time - January - was sort of great sitting there because the sun came out and even tho outside it was pleasant. Location was stunning as well as the other restaurants there tbh because Setenil is a Jewel! We ordered the aubergine filled with goat cheese an honey - WOW - and Flamiquin and a giant tomato and onion salad . Super decent price and even if the food was mostly fried not heavy at all. Love it :)

We ordered croquetas (a must!), parrillada ibérica and callos. Simple tasty!

No need to discuss about the location and the beautiful environment. The same with the food. We ordered sirloin beef steak or as they called it there “Solomillo de ternera”. Soft, fresh and delicious meat with fries and little bit spicy sauce aside. Perfect!!! Recommend 100%!

Very good food and service unparalleled with neighboring bars and restaurants. The lamb chops and shrimps in oil were fantastic. Sit down and enjoy the Spanish manana. Prices are moderate, 12€ for the chops, 5€ for shrimp.

The food was super delicious, meat was savoury (especially the chorizo), arroz con leche was to die for. The setting is beautiful.

The Codillo and the Octopus were fantastic. The setting is of course spectacular, and one would expect some kind of tourist trap place, but this is the real deal!

Stopped by for coffees - nice atmosphere and friendly, quick service. Good spot to take in the typical cave structures of the town.
