We were recommended this restaurant for the quality of the paella. Glad to say we were not disappointed. Absolutely outstanding food. The quirkyness of the restaurant is beautiful, and the views are to die for. I would seriously recommend this place. Thank you very much.

I've been fortunate to attend this beautiful unique restaurant several times over the years having both my 60th birthday party here with family and friends and my 65th birthday here. The staff and owner were amazing, but some can be a little slow and inattentive, but the quality of food... particularly the paellas and desserts more than make up for this. If you wish to spend a leisurely time, in a beautiful setting with unique decor and excellent food look no further. Thank you to each for making this place one of my happy places.

Great restaurant full of flare. We just bought a house in the area and have started to explore the various restaurants in the area. We loved the Bohemian atmosphere. I wasn't overly hungry and had the fried seafood plate - the fried scallops where amazing. They have a good wine selection as well.

Beautiful little restaurant with wonderful views and a laid back vibe, quirky but delightful decor - every table looks different to the next. Lunch on the terrace - book for the shade of a blind unless you like it super hot. Food was exquisite recommend "my mum's ham croquettes" and "choux buns with spicy sausage cheese and honey". We followed with turbot and prawns in cream sauce and lamb chops both superb. Lovely wines ace coffee and FANTASTIC SERVICE FROM A FRIENDLY AND ENTHUSIASTIC TEAM. If you don't like this restaurant heaven help you

Excellent food and ambience. Love the authentic cuisine and the setting is perfect. All dishes were perfect. Beware the large starters though! Highly recommended. Be warned that you need to book as it's very popular. Lots of disappointed passersby hoping for a meal were turned away.

We loved the cozy interior of the restaurant. Every decor items are thoughtfully picked out and mixed together. The homemade meat balls were fantastic. Valenciana paella was not bad. Overall a very pleasant dinning experience at Cañis.

Outstanding Paella in a cosy , quirky and friendly restaurant. Outside seating gives a great view of calpe rock / ifach. Order the paella in advance and be sure to book. Recommend for couples , groups and families. Dessert is standard fayre so skip that but I hear the starters are amazing. Get stuck in !

What a wonderful restaurant to have a real treat. Surroundings are fabulous, views are spectacular, food is beautifully presented, and the staff are great!! Totally recommend.

Good food for a more than fair price. Tasty and above average in the region and of course far better than in tourist areas.
Awesome flair, as every table is differently decorated while thereby contributing to a unique overall design. This really hit us positively.
Service was a bit slower than expected and not as kind-hearted and friendly as we would have liked, likely due to fully booked and us not speaking spanish (felt like a small barrier).
Overall we really enjoyed our visit and will go there at least a second time next week.

Very busy on Sunday lunch times. You need to pre book paella 24 hours in advance.

Very accommodating for person in wheelchair. Great views. Decor very interesting/busy so keep finding more to look at. Despite being busy there's very attentive service. I've taken visitors for nearly 20 years and never disappointed. Tad pricey but well worth it.

Very cosy restaurant with a beautiful view on Penon ifach. Very nice terrace. Paella was pre-ordered and fantastic.

Had such an amazing meal here this evening. Amazing tapas and the main course of the sole and cod was fab. Desserts were great too. Great service and settings.
