Restaurante El Nou Cavall Verd

An incredible surprise! The food selection was phenomenal, to say the least. From a delightful tomato dish to cod, partridge, and lamb to desserts. Very complete wine list - something for everyone. The wait staff are efficient and knowledgeable. They don't hover, but you do not have to wait for anything.

We chose to avail ourselves of the menu option. 3 starters, a main plate and dessert. The portions are more than generous.

On top of the food, the views are spectacular.

This was our first visit. It won't be our last.

This mountain restaurant has a magnificent panoramic view and the drive up is amazing. Do reserve a table outside so you can soak up the view. The food is first class. We had three fairly large starters between four people. The lamb main was very succulent and a stand out. The Paris Brest dessert was also super tasty. It can all be a bit rich so go with an appetite. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. Good value for money for three courses and wine. Enjoy the herb digestif with a fantastic looking bottle!

After you have parked your car you enjoy the magnificent views of the Montgo area, but also of the Coll de Rates. We where welcomed by very friendly staff.

The 6 course menu (3 starters, 1 main and 1 desert) where original, very tasteful and from a very high standard and quality.

The friendly staff explained all courses well. We have reserved a table in a couple of weeks to show ‘our new discovery’ to friends.

Had the meal of the day. More expensive than some but the views are to die for.
Food was delicious, the starters are large so we had 3 between the 4 of us. (even 2 to share would have been enough.)

Panoramic views, superb food and great, friendly service. Reasonable prices too - a 3-course menu for €22 (includes 3 tapas starters to share, a main course and dessert; excludes drinks). Highly recommended!

Stunning food and wine selection (made by the waiter)

We visited El Nou Cavall for diner on Easter Friday in spring. A stunning location, the road from Benissa towards the restaurant is really worth it, impressive valley (La Vall de Laguar, we were lucky to see the tree blossems, beautiful). We had a fantastic diner, the menu offers great creative tapas to share, succulent main courses (el jarrete de ternera lacado was incredible), and again original desert options to share. The wine menu is interesting, with a great bobal as one of the options to go for. Very friendly staff. We highly recommend this beautiful restaurant, and its impressive chef! thank you for a great evening!

Great food! We had the menu of the day, the three starters included quail, cod and pork, all cooked to perfection. The main course was a rice soup with egg yolk and pork meatballs, delicious. Dessert was a chocolate dessert and a Paris Brest. Views from the hilltop restaurant are of mountains, and a vast green valley with the sea in the background.

This is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere in Campell. Great atmosphere, ambience and excellent service. Food is delicious too. It's a must visit.

Be aware that there is an old website, same place not same phonenumber. So use the good name if you want to make a reservation. It is El Nou Cavall Verd!!!
