BAR LA CORTINA

It is located on the quiet road, and sitting outside is very pleasant. The food is absolutely great - octopus galician style, scallops, devilfish pate and tomato salad are superb. Tuna could be a bit better, wine is good and deserts are OK, but nothing special. Staff is very friendly and with a little help of Google translate we managed to understand each other. On the weekday evening the bar was half full with locals and we were the only tourists there. Prices are reasonable - 112 eur for 5 people. Overall extremely positive experience, well recommended.

My wife and I really enjoyed our lunch at La Cortina. We went on a Monday during the first week in September. The food was very good. We had Ensalada de Nuestros Tomatoes, Gambas a la plancha, and Setas a la plancha (tomato salad, grilled prawns, and grilled mushrooms), plus coffee and pacharan. We'd order all of them again. The service was professional. The clientele was a mix of locals and tourists.

Such a great spot where our 3hour AlsaBus ride from Oviedo stopped. The place has everything you need after a long ride - Hot coffee, delicious tortilla de patata, a warm host and a clean banyo.

If you happen to drive by or spend a few days in Panes / Siejo you should call in to experience this great traditional local tabern. Excellent service and wonderful food. Very good quality / price ratio. One of the best places to dine in the area. Reservations are advisable particularly during the summer and weekends. Both outdoor and indoor dining areas available. Local cheese and cured meats available.

We had lunch twice here when we visited north of Spain.
The food was amazing, they used fresh ingredients. The taste was fantastic, the service was great and we got our food fast enough. The place is clean and the price was fair. They have the best 'tarta de abuela'. We would like to come back again..

Trato agradable y atento por parte del personal. Tuvieron incluso el detalle de regalar un chupachus al peque de la familia. Comida de estilo casero, muy sabrosa y con productos frescos. Nos encantaron el picadillo, las zamburiñas, las croquetas y el arroz con leche. Precio muy razonable (unos 22 euros por persona). Realmente recomendable. Es aconsejable realizar reserva en verano.

Encontramos este restaurante por la recomendación de unos vecinos de Panes y, la verdad, ha sido todo un acierto.
La comida estaba riquísima, todos los platos son caseros y tienen una calidad increíble.

Nos lo recomendaron en el pueblo y fue todo un acierto. Comimos estupendamente, todo muy rico y precios moderados. Los postres, caseros y deliciosos.

Llegamos allí después de hacer el recorrido del Deva sobre las 15:00 2 adultos y 2 niños. Nos ofrecieron mesa en el interior ya que la terraza estaba llena. Trato y servicio muy muy bueno. Pedimos varias tapas y todas muy buenas, algunas no nos dio tiempo ni a hacer la foto. Las croquetas también espectaculares. El arroz con leche de 10.

Buen servicio y buena relación calidad precio.

Atención inmejorable. Comida muy rica, tomamos vieiras, croquetas caseras, chuletón y tarta de queso, la cual estaba magnífica.
Bien de precio. Se aparca fácil.
Hay que visitarlo

Estábamos de ruta y paramos a hacer unas tapas, que resultaron espectaculares. Un solo camarero sirviendo todas las mesas muy rápido y eficaz. Las manitas de cerdo eran sublimes y las patatas fritas casera súper ricas.

Casi cada mañana voy con mi pareja a tomar un té y el café. Cuando nos atiende Montse, da gusto… siempre nos atiende con una sonrisa y ya sabe lo que queremos y como lo queremos. Gracias por tu servicio
