Great place. Very large portions. Fabada was good but not as good as my mother's. Verdinas are very good. The fish cachopo is outstanding. Rabas are also excellent.

I feel very grateful to have gone here! The staff were really kind to me and when they found out I was doing the Camino they even gave me free cheesecake and a shot and put in lots of effort to talk to me! It really made my day and motivated me when I was feeling a bit low. Thanks to everyone and the food of course, so delicious! :)

Exceptional place! I can’t speak highly enough of it. The welcome, the service, the staff and the food are all as good as it gets. Incredible scallops, the best I have ever had. Same for the pimentos. Amazing cider with a waiter specifically for pouring it for you. All under the shade of grape vines. Relaxed, fun, professional staff. Our Sea bass was perfect. Great cheese cake, coffee and honey digestive at the end. All for less that €100. Something special in the middle of Asturias

We visited Casa El Rubiu in July 2021 and had an amazing dinner. I highly recommend Zamburiñas and Cachopo. Really high quality food at a reasonable price.

The ambience and place are very clean, and the service is well trained! Although there is a lot of people there are enough waiters to satisfy demand…

Excellent quality at adequate prices. The Cachopo de rape (Fish version of the traditional meat dish made with monkfish) and the Sangria de sidra (Cider sangría) are both a must. The cheese cake is home made *of course* and to die for. Enjoy

Typical Asturian menu, great atmosphere, we felt like locals. More expensive than rural places we visited further mainland.. towards the mountains.

Very nice, we were welcome with our two dogs and the serving was quick and kind. The food was nice

Really good local food, a wide variety of fish. Cannot miss the squid (Calamares or Rabas), the Cachopo, that is a traditional dish from the region that consists on meat with cheese, and the cheesecake.

Experiencia inmejorable. Fuimos porque estaba cerca de nuestro alojamiento, y desde el primer minuto la cena fue increíble. Los precios son muy buenos teniendo en cuenta las raciones tan generosas que ofrecen y la calidad del producto. Pero si por algo la visita fue buena, fue por Jose, el camarero que nos atendió. Su simpatía, cercanía, recomendaciones, preocupación… Una persona excelente. Sin duda repetiremos cada vez que volvamos. Mil gracias a todo el servicio!

Comimos de maravilla, la relación calidad-precio es muy buena. Todo el pescado era fresco y bien preparado. No se reserva, hay que "apuntarse" a la lista pero nos sentaron bastante rápido. El servicio muy amable. Parada recomendada!

Increíble, hacía tiempo que no comía así de bien. Los platos están riquísimos, los camareros son muy amables y rápidos. Completamos nuestra comida con unos postres, todos igual de deliciosos que lo anterior. Volvimos al día siguiente otra vez. Nos atendieron Sol y Mario, qué gente más maja. Recomendable 100%!

El mejor restaurante en el que he estado en mucho tiempo. Llegamos sin reserva nos prepararon la mesa enseguida en la terraza, ya que íbamos con perro y pedimos unas croquetas mixtas, de jamón Cabrales y marisco... Increibles. Unas verdinas con langostinos y almejas y una fabada... Las verdinas espectaculares y para rematar el cachopo de rape.... Buenísimo. Llena muchísimo pero está tan bueno.... Sin duda volveremos!!!!

Trato muy cercano y atento. Comida espectacular. El mejor cachopo que hemos comido. Las zamburiñas a la plancha muy frescas y deliciosas. Mejor ir pronto porque se llena.

Sitio muy bueno! Fuimos por recomendación de un amigo y fue un acierto, los cachopos espectaculares, recomiendo el cachopo de rape, exquisito y la tarta de queso pese a ser de nevera muy muy buena también.

La verdad que un sitio espectacular. No reservan mesa pero fuimos allí y enseguida nos dieron mesa, además se puede llevar perros si comen en la terraza. Todos los camareros son un encanto, y la relación calidad precio es muy buena.
