Parador de Pontevedra

As with all Paradors I have stayed at so far, just superb, beautiful setting, rooms, luxury comforts and decor. Lovely little garden space. Great views and in the old part of town - walking distance to everything. Quiet. Great linen, beds, bathroom supplies and linen. Clean including sterilisation of things like remotes. Great to still find that upheld. Comfortable beds. Large rooms. Great staff who always go above and beyond - so helpful and attentive.

Very elegant and classy hotel in the heart of historical town centre. Excellent location, nice rooms, comfy beds, nice bathroom with bath tube. Very friendly and helpful service. As a New Years gift we got a bottle of nice olive oil. Very nice gesture, thank you!
Some minor comments on things we missed:
We had an issue with radiators what every day at 8 am were making weird sounds. Also we missed a kettle and some tea in the room as we would expect in the 4-star hotel is a standard but apparently not in Parador. :) I personally missed also a gym but it's not a complaint as my boyfriend was booking a hotel and I didn't check on the facilities beforehand.

Great Hotel in a palace of sorts inside the walking district of Pontevedra. Service and staff were great. The room was spacious. Loved the wooden shutters on the windows. Like stepping back in time.

Had a wonderful two night stay in this charming hotel full of history. Staff were extremely helpful with everything including alarm calls and taxi bookings and local information. Bathroom was spacious. Bedroom had a wonderful view over the courtyard. Old Town located on its doorstep was equally charming.

Beautiful grand hotel in the heart of old Pontevedra. Nice clean big bathroom with tub and bidet. Comfortable bed and pillows. This was the former palace of a wealthy family and fun to imagine how it was. So many great nearby outdoor restaurants within a few blocks.

Amazing hotel in a great quite location, but with only few minutes walk, you will find bars, restaurant, shops. Spacious clean rooms with complete bath amenities. Rebecca & Cecilia are helpful staff, also those who serving in the restaurant and the housekeeping. Have not got the chance to have dinner, however breakfast was good eventhough limited choices, Coffee and the pastries were ok. Wifi connection is good. I would stay again if I have the chance to visit Pontevedra again.

A beautiful old hotel - classic Parador, in a great location for a stop on the Camino. The room was massive and super-comfortable and the restaurant was great for dinner. Perfect service and the food was delicious.

Looks amazing - the most eye-catching architecture in the city. Overall this is a great place to stay and is one of the cheaper paradors in the country. The breakfast is good and the hotel is well located for all the sights.

We had a lovely stay at the Parador while on the camino Portuguese. It was such a luxurious treat to be able to soak in a bathtub and have nice shampoo and hair conditioner. The service was excellent! We can't wait to come back!
