David, the manager, at this hotel provided us with outstanding service, with a very helpful and warm welcome.
He also helped serve us our food at dinner and breakfast. The staff and David all work hard to make the guests feel comfortable. We are walking the Camino, and I appreciated and enjoyed this hotel.

I would come back here gladly anytime! This was the best stay of our Camino so far. We had a beautiful view of the field and mountains (and a cute sheep we named buttercup). The food here was the best overall meal that I have had in Spain. I really didn’t want to leave this place. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make out stay unforgettable. Thank you so much for a great visit and I hope to come back in the future :)

This is a really well located hotel with good facilities and great views of the surrounding countryside. The rooms are nice and clean. The service is very good and David, the owner, is very helpful. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

This was an awesome booking through Camino Ways! We called ahead to determine if the restaurant/bar would be open with food available at noon, our host answered the call, and after I exhausted my limited Spanish, he graciously answered all my questions in English. Food and beverages are available all day, and it's incredible. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean, and we slept soundly. Breakfast was a complete spread with coffee made to order. We delayed our rainy walk to O Cebreiro as long as we could, but we had to move on up the mountain. Thank you for a great stay on the Camino. We hope to stay again one day!

This was an absolute oasis after a hot walk from Villafranca del Bierzo! Very flexible with meal times - great food, great service and a wonder location right next to the camino.

Old world charm combined with modern amenities. The owner/operators are courteous, professional and provide the ultimate in service. We were fortunate enough to spend two nights here and loved every minute of it.

Fantastic stop on the Camino. If it were a bit warmer we could have sat outside all afternoon drinking wine and listening to the river and the cows. Great rest before the climb to O Cebreiro.

Noelia greeted us when we arrived, she waited on us at dinner and served us breakfast. She is a gem!! Speaks very good English and was always so pleasant. The views were wonderful, food very tasty and the rooms special.
We were tired after a long walk doing the Camino de Santiago and this was a lovely respite.

Totally recommended. For luxury pilgrims, or those looking for a 5 star experience on a very reasonable budget. Great food, with relaxing views of a placid meadow and the gurgling sound of a river.

You might want to keep this place a secret, because it is an amazing getaway from everything.

You can do the climb to O Cebreiro -one of my favourite parts of the Camino de Santiago- on foot or on an organised horse trip. Try a steak -rubio gallego, the Wagyu of Spanish beef- or the perfectly cooked Secreto Iberico pork. The lettuce and tomato taste farm fresh, and the breakfast is generous in both quantity and quality.

Highly recommended, but hush hush.. it's our secret, ok?

Comfortable clean rooms with view over Rio Valcarce. Friendly helpful staff. Good pilgrim dinner and nice breakfast for pellegrinos starting the day. Enjoyable outdoor deck for G&Ts after a long day on the Camino.

Fantastic scenery, probably the best food so far (no Menu of the Day), and a good night's sleep. Recommend!
