The Villa Romano must be the best preserved Roman villa in Europe. It is remarkable in the wholeness of the building, complete with living rooms, bedrooms, baths & latrines. Almost every room has its original mosaic floors. If you enjoy Roman architecture this is a must-see, €5/€3 (reduced).

A wonderful example of what can be done to protect a Roman site and make it easy for visitors to view and appreciate. Low prices that also include entry to the museum nearby that contains the items found during the excavation. The mosaics are huge and very detailed.

Really interesting roman villa that is remarkably well preserved. It is now covered so I'd specially recommend this visit if you are in the area and the weather is not great for outdoor activities

The amount of mosaic was amazing. The exhibits were really well presented and in their original place in the Roman building remains. The accompanying leaflet was well written and informative.

This was so awesome to walk around in. The amount of floor mosaics that were preserved is amazing and you can get a feel of how big the villa was. We happened to go on a Tuesday and it was free.

It is not just a magnificent visit. The remains are spectacular, the mosaics are astonishing, the guided tour is perfect in length, informative and more and more interesting as the you go through the different areas of the mansio. The man in reception (Juanjo) is probably the best I have found anywhere in the world, he was the nicest most helpful person ever. Anyway if you are ever within 300 miles from Saldaña ibis definitely a must.

Tremendous museum building, housing remains of one of the finest villas in Western Europe. Mosaics are wonderful.

Beautiful large mosaics in excellent condition. This vila was more like a palace. Make sure you get to see the video in the auditorium, I had to ask for it. Incredible that such an important archeological find had such few visitors this Sunday in May. For over an hour, we were the only people here.

Staff were more than happy to help. Granted out of season, but even put the commentary on in English for us. Beautifully restored with signs in English.
