Beautiful location and the two people running the place warmly welcomed us on a cold night (end of November)! We ended up being the only two guests that night but were still served a huge and yummy dinner 😂🤤 The views from the hut were breathtaking as well! Will come back again in the summer when all the trails are safe to hike!!

Note: in the off-season you can leave your car parked in the valley parking lot.

What a privilege to be up high in the mountains, staying here. Very good 12 bed dorms with ensuite bathrooms. Lots of power points for charging. Hearty food and reasonable priced beer. Great atmosphere and incredible location above ordesa gorge.

Great refuge for a stay in the Ordesa National Park. Four minutes showers offered even if you tent outside. Make sure to pick your tent spot and write your name and the tent site number at the front desk as soon as you arrive. Good station for charging phones too. Food was pretty good; we had lentils and llonganissa / potatoes or fried eggs for vegetarians.

Very kind and nice personnel!

We stayed with a tent for 4 days, renting the lockers at Góriz was very helpful. A perfectly equipped refugee with attention to details. The prices in the bar/canteen were much lower than I expected.

One can camp only between 20:00-08:00, which was not that convenient, but it all makes sense and it was very kind to allow people to camp not on a proper camping site.

The location is excellent for multiple hiking options. And of course, the views from the camping site are stunning. I do not need to mention that this national park is a must-see nature jewel with surprisingly versatile views and a very rich nature.

Very good dinner, very helpful staff!

Reminder to fellow hikers that there is absolutely no cell phone coverage at the refugio, so plan your calls/messages accordingly ;)

This Refugio has its own kind of magic- not easy to get there, but well worth the merit! It's a great base for exploring nearby peaks such as Monte Perdido and many route options to fill some hiking days. Place is clean, staff are friendly and the food is good.

It's a small lodgement in the middle of nowhere, guarded by 4 or 5 people. If you don't want to pay they let you set your tent in the plots around. The ground is a bit wobbly in some of them but nevertheless we had a nice sleep. We didn't pay but we had access to water, toilets and we could get a locker for 4€ (and a 5 € caution). Food was reasonably expensive (as were coffees soft drinks) as it's brought by an helicopter. In August you can find a small pond in the surroundings to have a splash if you're willing.

Stayed here in 1998. Walked up to Refuge Sarradet in France, from Bujarello. Intended to stay there but, for some reason, decided to continue over Brech de Roland to Refugio Goriz in Spain. Struggling on the glacier, moaned to English stranger in front that I wished I had a walking ice-axe. He was a DofE instructor and had a bag full as he had “lost” one of his groups. Parted at border and had very interesting hike to Goriz. Booked in but Warden said “Suelo” so floor for me. Later, I noticed foam mattresses on the dining tables and mistakenly thought he didn’t literally mean floor. Got in my sleeping bag but was soon surrounded by an angry group of fascist scouts. They were all talking at once but I heard one of them say he’s got a beard- what do you expect, he’s a communist! I realised my mistake and asked them to give me a few minutes but they returned and told me I could have the place. All night I fumbled for the stash in my socks but no joy. Next morning, I arose early to spot my stash in the middle of the floor. Happy Days! I then noticed the warden waiting for me with an unfriendly glare. He, probably believing I was a degenerate communist, asked for more money as I had used a “bed”. I had a great day walking down to Torla and a relaxing day by the river.

An experience of solitude and bliss under sun and stars without ANY kind of connectivity with busy and noisy world.
