Well worth the drive. There is decent parking space behind olive trees across the road. There is a bench to sit and take in the beautiful view. The cool breeze here made it a lovely charming memory.

Very nice view point, awarded by National Geographic. However, almost no possibility to park a car.

The night view is beautiful. We couldn t manage to get there during the day but we were lucky because it looks even better at night.

There is some parking off the side of the road just a few hundred feet away. There is a sidewalk along the side of the road that leads to the mirador, so it's easy to navigate in a wheelchair if you can get over the curb.

Municipality in Spain

Montefrio is a municipality in the province of Granada. The ruins of a Moorish castle sit near the highest point. Being built midway between the Sierra de Priego and Sierra Parapanda, and commanding the open valley between these ranges, it became one of the chief frontier fortresses of the Moors in the 15th century. source
