Cortijo Alba Rosa

Beautiful traditional house and lovely pool, in a stunning and quiet location away from it all. Great for exploring this region of Spain.

This place is everything as stated in the advert and more.

I went to this amazing place late October 2022 with a couple of friends.

Arriving at night and unable to see the daylight view, the first thing that captivated me about house was the way the inside was presented. Very beautifully laid out and dressed, which made it extremely warm and inviting and having everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay.

The house manager (Jen) was there to meet and greet us, which added to the feeling of being comfortable and really at home for the eight days we spent there. She answered all our questions and helped us make the most of our holiday.

During the daytime, one was welcomed by truly beautiful views and scenery. There are olive/ orange trees and cacti surrounding the Cortijo Alba Rosa, which is beautifully landscaped.
There were concerns the weather would not be on our side given we were there in late October; however, we experience sublime temperatures in the high 20s/ low 30 degrees Celsius. The pool was refreshing, and we used it regularly.
Going food shopping and taking trips to the Alhambra, Malaga and Marbella in the pursuit of history and a bit of bustle was very straightforward. The signposting to these places is well-organised and clear, although I recommend you plan your route in advance.
Overall, an amazing experience and I am looking forward to returning, which is one of my places of zen. Plus, the home-made Olive Oil is to die for…

The most wonderful stay at Cortijo Alba Rosa! An unforgettable holiday. We absolutely fell in love with the villa and the view. The view is nothing we have ever seen before. Everything was perfect. The owner Matthew had great communication with us from the start to ensure we had clear instructions to get to the villa and that everything was 100% during our stay. The house is so well equipped, it really has everything. We even got to try delicious hand made lemoncello. We used the swimming pool everyday and night and the water was so refreshing. We had barbecue’s, watched movies on the TV, and went for walks around cortijo Alba Rosa. We even went to central Granada twice, the famous Alhambra and to the beach.

Cortijo Alba Rosa is such a special, breathtaking place we even got engaged here. We will be back soon for sure.

Had a totally wonderful couple of weeks. Fabulous well priced villa with great facilities, lovely pool and fantastic views. Really great location for Granada, the mountains and the beach.

Surrounded by hills covered in lemon, orange, and olive trees, a short drive away from both the Sierra Nevada and the beach, Cortijo Alba Rosa is the place to be for a relaxing stay in the heart of Andalusia! The comfortable rooms with breathtaking views, amazing pool, outdoor bbq, Instagram-perfect patio, and large kitchen are guarantees of a stay with full comforts. Highly recommended!
