We have driven past this restaurant so may times, but today we went in and are so glad we did. The choice on the menu del dia was amazing. Lots of fish choices a well as meat. Also, not everything was fried and there was a choice of salad or chips. We both chose grilled cuttlefish for our main and it was the best we have had in the ten days since we arrived. Three courses and two drinks each came to less than €20. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. We will definitely return.
Update April 24: Menu del dia still only €12 for three courses Inc a drink. Portions are large and quality is exceptional. My lenguado was delicious!

Hello everyone!!! My name is Manolo and I live in a beautiful town called SPB. It's small but you can do everything: swimming on the river, hiking, eat delicious food, go to the swimming pool, carnival, festival, ... On Sundays, I like walking on the way "Light factories" and at the end of the way you can swim on "La Cristalina". La "Cristalina" is a part of the river Guadiaro. There, the water of the river is so clean, clear and very cold. After swimming, I like to eat a sandwich with cheese and tomato. After walking for one hour, I arrive town and I always go to the restaurant "Los Cachollas". I usually drink a natural orange juice and a toast with avocado and olive oil. Oranges and avocados of my town. The restaurant is not cheap but you can eat very good and the sightseeing are amazing. You can see a lot of avocado trees, vultures, eagles, mountains,...The best dish is "Open anchovies" with lemon juice.

The food was excellent and the service was even better. Great, relaxing lunch in a beautiful town.

Hemos pedido ensaladilla rusa y nos han puesto media ración, una ración de tortillitas de acelgas y espinacas, albóndigas de rape y carrillada.
La carrillada era agua prácticamente, sin grasa, es excelente.
La comida ha estado fantástica, mucha cantidad, si eres de comer te vas a poner las botas. Si no, te aconsejo que no pidas mucho porque es bastante cantidad.
Las camareras y los camareros son super simpáticos y te aconsejan si es mucha cantidad o no.
Seguro que volveremos a repetir.
Un sitio excelente.
Hemos salido a 12-13€ por persona, para la calidad que tiene la comida y lo bueno que está todo está muy muy bien de precio.

Excelente comida y buen tamaño de las comidas. Pedimos ortiguillas, alcachofas, solomillo, cola de toro, entrecot y algo más que no recuerdo. Trato muy amable. Repetiré cuando vayamos por la zona. Muy recomendable.
