Tasca el Charquito

Tasca el Charquito has to be the best place in Benicàssim! Their food is exceptional, traditional Spanish cuisine, so authentic! And the cherry on the top is their customer service. We felt right at home. They are masters of hospitality and food delicacy. Their food is so addictive that we had to come every night during our stay in the area.

If you come to this city, other places can not go, this restaurant must come. The food is handsome , the wine is handsome, the jamon is handsome, and most importantly the Boss is guapo! Definitely come for lunch!

Went to charquito a few times the last couple of years when visiting Spain. The service and quality of food keeps me coming back. This time around we went there for lunch and a few days later visited for dinner. As always the service was great. Helena made sure our lunch was a great experience. She was very helpful guiding us through their offerings. During our dinner visit the bar staff were very helpful and professional. We were offered to take a spot inside, by the bar. We were a bit hesitant but it was the right move. Outside was crowded and the weather very warm. Indoors was very pleasant as the AC kept things very nice and cool. The atmosphere was great. People were singing along to the Spanish music playing through the speakers. It was a party atmosphere, great for a warm Saturday night. Totally recommended. My favorite place in town.

Delicious meal. Jose Moreno advised us expertly on our choices. We had lobster, with eggs and french fries. It was all perfectly cooked and the wine and postres were excellent too. A very enjoyable meal with great service. I would recommend Tasca el Charquito and Jose..

I feel it's one of the best places in the area. Typical Spanish cuisine, nicely done. Even my boss took us there for a dinner , that speaks enough for the place .

Went for dinner and really enjoyed the food, the morcilla was amazing and the tellinas nice and fresh, we finished off with the manchego cheesecake.

Un buen sitio para comer o cenar de picar, imposible sin reserva, los productos muy buenos, la carta de vinos de calidad, el servicio simpático la cocina lenta comprensible por la época del año, siempre lleno. El de las reservas hay que entenderlo. El precio acorde a la calidad. El Charquito original vale la pena entrar a verlo.

La terraza de fuera no refleja el ambiente tan chulo que hay en el interior. Menos mal que cenamos dentro. Música y ambiente muy flamencos, y la calidad del producto es muy buena. Los boquerones una pasada, tiernos, y con aroma a limón y romero. La tortilla, el queso y el jamón... de calidad.

Una cena fantástica!! Un sitio agradable, el servicio super atento y la comida buenísima. Pedimos la ensaladilla, el pan con tomate, los pimientos de padrón, los boquerones y croquetas de queso, todo un acierto. Rafael super simpático, que gusto cenar tan bien atendidas!

Muy recomendado, la comida estaba buenísima, aparte el servicio muy atento y muy rápido. No teníamos mesa y Rafael nos hizo una mesa, aparte ha estado muy atento.
