We had heard that this was a great stop on the Camino. We had a great experience! Friendly people and delicious hamburgers. The quality of the meat and other ingredients made for one of the best places we ate on the whole Camino Frances. Thanks so much!

I loved stopping here. The staff were very nice helped me a great deal when I needed a break on the Camino. We talked and swapped stories about Hamburgers, and Route 66!

We stopped for beer and ordered the basque cheese cake and it was AMAZING. we drank 3 beers and the cheese cake for eur 10.5. Totally worth it !

The man at the bar who served us went above and beyond service. Not only did he make us a drink that wasn't on the menu, he also drove to the next town and looked through several albergues to find us and give a wallet back to my friend who had forgotten it there. We love him. He is a Camino angel. He expected nothing in return.

The best bacon sandwich (bocadillo de bacon) of my whole Camino (Frances)! The only place so far that’s toasted it and the bacon itself was cooked phenomenally. GET IT.

Portomarín is a municipality in the province Lugo, in the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. It belongs to the comarca of Lugo. The town has a population of 2008 and an area of 115 km². It is one of the towns in the pilgrimage route known as the French Way, part of the Camino de Santiago. The town of Portomarín was built next to a Roman bridge over the Miño River and rebuilt during the Middle Ages. source
