Restaurante Umami

Very very very good service and a lovely dining room at the back with views and aircon. The tempura verduras is a must and comes with a really tasty honey sauce. My son had one of the best burgers he's ever had. I had the beef entrecote which was excellent and come with a mini stove for those who prefer a little more well done. We also had a lasagne and dorada fish which were very good also.

We are visiting the area for the first time and are delighted to have found this restaurant early in our stay.
We love the decor and ambience and they serve first class coffee. We have returned to eat several times in the evening and the food is excellent and very good value, especially for the portion size, (with no compromise on quality). The duck was divine and the entrecôte tasty and a fine cut. The salads are delicious - imaginative and different. Last night the lights were dimmed to serve my goat cheese salad flambeed. Definitely not ‘run of the mill’.
This restaurant stands out and they deserve every success. So impressed were we, we shall likely visit this delightful town with a view to returning to this restaurant.

Best duck I've had in the 8 months of travelling through Spain. It was so delicious we came back to have it breakfast before we left the town. Also highly reccomend the burrata salad too!! The staff were very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Couldn't reccomend more!

I recommend you to have a bite at the nicest and cosiest bar in Alozaina, which is Bar Umami without doubt! Varied menu, delicios food. I had the salad and the croquettes, and cannot make up my mind which I preferred! So good! Owners are very friendly (love the blue hair you were rockin') Definitely will come here again!

Went for a quick meal after watching the Vuelta Malaga race. Was hence quite busy. The food was amazingly tasty and well cooked, had prawns, fillet steak, and a salad. Large portions. Offers some amazing views as well.

Highly recommended if you are in the village of Alozaina, please stop by and enjoy delicious home made food by a family owned cafe/restaurant.
