Borja is a great teacher, with a professional attitude and very helpful methodology. He finds materials that are relevant and level appropriate and I felt very well supported in our individual conversation classes (B1). I definitely recommend!

Borja is a fantastic Spanish teacher.

He adapts the lessons to your learning needs and interests, and always keeps things interesting with fun discussions and a range of topics.

As well as grammar and standard vocabulary, he teaches commonly used expressions and the more informal types of language that you won't find in a textbook.

He also helps you to understand Spanish culture, history and politics alongside the language, and is full of recommendations for places to visit in Granada and the surroundings.

Borja is very patient and the one-to-one lessons are presented in a relaxed and friendly way. One thing I like about Borja is that he is very flexible and can adapt the lessons to my personal needs.
The lessons were always fun and insightful in grammar rules and both the social and cultural life in Spain.
I feel I have stepped up and improved my understanding of Spanish language, my speaking and reading while I have taken courses with Borja. He is a very experienced and knowledgeable teacher.

On my first five minutes of my trial lesson at Nomad Spanish Lessons with Borja I already knew that that's what I need to learn Spanish! It's not the usual class style, where you have a lot of Grammar, and boring sentences to work with, but focusing more on your speaking, also teaching you the Grammar but on an interesting / practical way! I was always looking forward to his fun classes and even to do the homework. I would definitely recommend him/ his way of teaching to everyone who wants to improve their Spanish!

Borja is an excellent teacher and really helped me improve my Spanish this summer. He is attentive, patient, and very knowledgeable about the language and always provided constructive criticism throughout our lessons. All of the classes are interactive and interesting, and he really pushes you to try to converse, even when you feel stuck or nervous. I would 100% recommend him!

Borja is a great teacher with lots of amazing interactive materials on hand. He uses an individualised learning platform for both in-class and independing learning. I would recommend his classes to students of any level from complete beginners to advanced speakers.

I've tried studying at various language schools but Borja is the best teacher I've found and stayed with for classes. He makes any complicated grammar easy with clear short explanations and classes are always interesting, discussing and debating relevant topics that I didnt think before I would be able to express in Spanish. He is very good at encouraging you to speak as much as possible during classes.

I would highly recommend classes with Borja! Even though I only had a short amount of time, I learned a lot and we could really focus on my personal development within the language. He has nice methods that include a lot of talking, some grammar and homework. The topics matched well with the Spanish you use day-by-day. I would highly recommend Borja at Nomad Spanish Lessons! The lessons were fun and informal, but still professional and very well structured. During the lessons you will be totally immersed in Spanish - Borja makes you feel as if you can already speak Spanish by tailoring his speech to your level and asking easy questions to give you the confidence to talk. With the homework assignments you can go over the grammar learnt in the class. We had a lot of fun and laughs, Gracias Borja!

Borja is a fantastic teacher. I honestly can't recommend him enough! I first met him in a bar when I arrived in September this year. I was on a quest to find a good school, and decided to take private classes with him alongside my lessons in a school.
I have since moved schools 3 times due to disappointing teaching, but my sessions with Borja have consistently been brilliant!

He is patient, clear and extremely knowledgable in the language. His lessons are well prepared, fun, and (if you book regular sessions) you will notice the course to be well structured and delivered at a sensible pace.
I have never studied a language before, so it has been a huge help to work with a teacher who is prepared to focus on areas that I need more time on.

Borja's been the best Spanish teacher I've had. He is really amicable, very structured and I feel really confident learning with him.

Borja's classes are fun, knowledgeable and interactive and are a mix of a lot of verbal communication and of course reading, writing, and listening. I liked that the courses were all online, we could independently also study and go through the lessons ourselves (outside of the classes). My schedule with him was around an hour per week and completing the assignments in-between. As a working individual, he was very flexible with having his classes in person or online. On days when I was not in town, this was very helpful and gave me a huge sense of relief! I would highly recommend him and his teaching style!

I was really hesitant to start taking classes as I didn’t know if I would be able to find a teacher I clicked with, but I’m so glad to have found a teacher like Borja. He is very relaxed but also good at knowing what areas I need to improve on and easing me into the lesson. I always enjoy his classes a lot and feel that my Spanish has improved significantly since we started. Muy recomendable!

I used to go to a Spanish classroom before and it was really good, but recently I've been studying with this teacher and my Spanish has been improving a lot faster than when studying with a classroom. The teacher is really nice and fun, always speaks about interesting topics. Being the sole focus of the teacher (because it's one to one) is very helpful.
The teacher speaks very good English too and has no problem explaining in English if you get absolutely stuck.

You can have the teacher come to your home so now you don't have to skip your classes for being lazy, bonus points.

Also my cat seems to like him, more bonus points!

Borja has been a really inspiring teacher for me. He's given me confidence, when I was really struggling with pronunciation and points of grammar, and helped me pass a B2 level exam. But actually most of all it's the really refreshing approach he takes, which is a really socially positive one - helps you immerse yourself in Spanish using your own interests and experiences. To be honest this has helped me rekindle my enthusiasm for the language. He's also great at organising cultural events with other students.

Borja is both a great teacher and person. If you are looking for someone professional, super knowledgable and fun to help you on your Spanish journey, he's your guy.

I have followed individual and group classes with Borja. The courses covers all the language skills throughout a variety of exercises regarding a reasonable gradual pace. Good effort and excellent teacher.

Borja is a fun and engaging teacher. One on one lessons are great and there is opportunity to meet other students, as well, through hiking and tapa meetups organised by the teacher, Borja. Highly recommend.
