Loved the garden! Great and spacious place for pilgrims. Aesthetically pretty. Clean! Just wished the wifi worked in the rooms and the breakfast had more healthy options.

One of the best albergues we stayed at on the Camino. Dinner was amazing and cheap. Nice garden and places to chill / relax.

Really clean place and very beautiful. So nice to share a room with just one other person! The dinner and wine were also really delicious- they care about pilgrims :)

best albergue on the camino. most welcoming and friendly staff. amazing gardens to relax in. rooms have 2 beds only. very clean and well kept. thoroughly recommended. you are missing out if you don't stay here. very good communal dinner

If you have no booking this gorgeous place keeps a certain amount of mattresses in shared dorms available for pilgrims. It was a brilliant welcoming hostel which offers a pilgrim meal for 10€- great spot to meet other walkers, staff are fantastic- would love to come back

I slept on a mattress in a gorgeous big room with other peregrinos. The garden is lovely and a nun gave us a talk and sang songs with us and it was greatly moving and boosted my spirits. The place is incredibly clean and well-maintained and although I find Santillana Del Mar a bit touristy and gimmicky, it was worth lingering there for this special place. This Albergue was also cheaper than a lot of the others along the camino and it had much better facilities and was a lot better run and prettier.

10 euros dinner for 3 courses wine and water. Beautiful garden. Chess, trivial pursuit and guitar!

Love it! I stayed for two nights before I love it so much! Garden is perfect, rooms are for one bunk bed, so you have nice privacy for yourself ❤ visit Altamira cave if you'll have the time for it!

One of the best places you will ever stay on the Camino. Location, staff, building, atmosphere.....it's a lovely stop and somewhere where you'll get a true Camino experience. Sign up for the communal meal (vegetarian options too) meet some fellow Pelegrinos and make some friends. Lovely garden too to chill out and relax.

the rooms are neat and comfy.
the territory is amazing: there is a huge garden and lots of chairs you can carry to any spot to enjoy either the sun or the leafy shade.
the kitchen has a microwave and a kettle plus plates and cutlery.

cheerful staff, a cool golden Saint in the common area and it was the first albergue with board games and chess.

The energy of the place is very soothing - it used to be a convent in the past. The receptionist was very calm and patient, very welcoming, offering a glass of cold water upon arrival - that's a nice touch. Spacious communal areas to meet interesting people. I would definitely recommend this albergue!

Wonderfull place. Spent the night here for only 13€. The place fills up fast and when the private rooms are full they have extra beds on the floor that I didn’t mind to sleep on. Clean showers/bathrooms, lots of room to walk around and receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Recommend the place 👌🏻

I was in this place a few days ago, the room was very comfortable and Diego, the man at the reception, was very kind and helpful.
Breakfast was rich and i also bought a nice buff for my camino!

Very beautiful and tastefuly renovated albergue. The rooms are only shared by two people, what a luxury. There’s a big garden with outdoor seating.

Worth to stop for a night in Santillana del Mar, to visit the town and go to a restaurant!
