The crown of Rota's history. It's such a charming castle and services the city as its city hall. They've done a great job of preserving their past and making it functional. If you can get a tour of the roof, do it, but use caution because there are no guard rails. It gives you a great view of Rota! The castle's tranfer among owners makes for a fascinating story! Great old stonework. Rota is very nice with good beaches.

Great smaller church/cathedral that people new to the area should see. Even if you are not religious the art and architecture is beautiful. Also located right around the corner from a great coffee and pastry shop.

This place is awesome. You can take a look around or participate at any event (ie. book presentation or conference). Recommend!

I mean...the history and age of this place, how could you pass up a chance to learn about and see a real castle if you are on the area. If you only speak English, when you buy your tickets ask for the English version. It only takes like an hour and it give you the chills thinking about walking in the same place of kings and Queens.
TIP- don't be shy and ask the guide who's speaking English so fast you can't understand, to slow down and speak up. It makes a huge difference.
Tip- my niece was married here so if you want an incredible wedding destination, heres your spot!
