Mike was really responsive and provided a lovely off road route for us to follow. At only 20 euros to hire a Mountain Bike this was a great value day out to see the beautiful countryside around Moraira

Mike, a Dutchman with a strong focus on mountain biking, has developed himself from a race/road bike sportsman into the go-to MTB guide in the Jalon Valley region. Being a race bike rider myself in my home country, the Netherlands, I was not aware enough of the benefits of riding a mountain bike. Mike taught us how to become skilled off-road riders and how to shift gears accordingly. His company SnakeBite provided well-maintained 29' rental bikes that were fully equipped with spare parts.

I enjoyed hearing about his experiences and knowledge about what it's like to live in Spain.

Choosing a MTB in this region will give you a much more engaging workout and stunning scenery as a bonus.

After 5 years of struggling in this area i ask Mike for help. He gives me a short clinic and adviced me how to attack the rocky hills. After a few hours struggling i managed to climb and to go down on the rocky slopes. I want to thank for the very useful advices. I even received a couple of YouTube movies for extra help. After a couple of small changes at the bike, changes position of handles and dropper i managed the mtb again. Thanks again

We came to Moraira as mixed group of cyclists and non cyclists. I hadn't arranged anything for us cyclists so contacted Mike the week before we arrived. I was able to book two of us on one of his All Mountain guided trips. Mike arranged full suspension bikes for us. The route was fantastic, obviously well researched with a combination of fast rocky descents and single track through the woods. Later in the week some of the other people in our group wanted to ride. I contacted Mike again booked some of his hard-tail bikes. We followed one of his self-guided routes on a GPS that he supplied. The route was a combination of quiet lanes and unmade roads ideal for our mixed group. There were also plenty of places to stop for coffee and snacks. In conclusion, the communication with Mike is rapid and efficient, his bikes and routes are of excellent standard and he is a really easy, nice person to ride with. Highly recommended for the cyclist on holiday.

We had a fantastic four days. We were well looked after. Great routes. Excellent guiding. Brilliant riding.
The riding was well pitched for me. It pushed me, but to the right level. Each day we felt we had had a good day out; tired but not too tired to enjoy the next day😊.

Awesome guided tour of the best trails in a beautiful area. I'm used to downhill trails and Mike made sure that we hit some downhills among the XC. If you're nervous about your fitness level as I was, Mike puts you at ease and lets you go at your own pace with no pressure. Thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic guided tour through the countryside into the beautiful Jalon valley area. Great fun and good trails, very picturesque. The guide Mike is a great guy, very professional and we would highly recommend him. We will definitely be returning to ride with Snakebite MTB Adventures.

Very beautiful guided routes and excellent mountainbikes.
I joined Mike on some more technical trails, longer gravel rides and some climbing rides with nice views over Calpe or Gata de Gorgos, always on a very well maintained and as good as new mountainbike.

Fabulous knowledge of the small routes and singlestracks in the area.
Rides could be adapted to every fitness- or technical level.
Besides that, Mike is a very nice and easy going guy!!
Recommended to low-pace groups, as well as high sporty individuals.
