Amazing Vicente Amigo concert at the Úbeda festival in this beautiful building. It was cold in mid-May so don’t forget your coats.

I did absolutely zero research before visiting Úbeda, which meant this was an incredible surprise! It's impressive from the outside, but particularly beautiful on the inside. We had a good look round the building and also enjoyed some of the temporary exhibitions on show. Free entry and one of the few cultural activities open on a Sunday, I highly recommend it.

Our 1st stop . A very helpful young man , gave us a map and marked out our path , of all the important treasures of the city . He himself was in films 🎥 . Well worth a 3 day visit to enjoy and experience.

A really lovely old building. The façade is certainly imposing, but when you step inside, it's cool and calm. Look out for the frescos when you go upstairs!! This building is large and has several uses for example; different rooms are transformed into art galleries during different weeks of the year ranging from modern contemporary to classical art. There is also a medium sized library which serves as the town library and is free for everyone to use- although, if you want to take a book out, you have to sign up for free. As well as this, there is a separate children's and young adults library which is stocked with books in Spanish and some in English!

Beautiful, unexpected find in Ubeda. Certainly worth the detour.

Un edificio histórico que sirve para actos culturales hoy día. Hoy que lo he visitado hay una exposición de una artista local, me ha encantado conocer su obra. Recomendable para disfrutar de la cultura sí estás por la zona.

Lugar emblemático de Ubeda. Siempre tiene actividades, conciertos y otros. Es maravilloso por fuera y por dentro. Merece la pena el lugar y el conjunto de la ciudad. Lástima que haya bajado el interés de los lugareños por la ciudad. Está bastante decaída. Ánimo a poner la ciudad donde se merece. Por todo lo alto! Animo al visitante a que se detenga en sus calles y sienta el aliento de sus edificios que emanan historia y vivencias.

Merece la pena visitar este espectacular palacio antiguo que ha convertido en un Centro Cultural. Sus techos altos son espectaculares y su patio central es digno de ver.

Magnífico edificio restaurado y habilitado por el ayuntamiento como sede cultural, con una inmensa oferta de actividades culturales y gratuitas, para el deleite de paisanos y foráneos.
Un gran acierto de apuesta por la cultura por parte del ayuntamiento 👍👍👍

Este imponente edificio con plaza interior era antaño un hospital de leprosos. Ahora ha sido reformado a biblioteca y tambien tiene aulas. Si subes las escaleras veras un precioso techo ornamentado en las mismas, y de la planta superior, llena de vidrieras, se puede ver la magnitud del patio y del edificio. Hermoso y de visita obligada.

Es un edificio renacentista precioso que actualmente tiene uso cultural pero fue un hospital de leprosos en su origen.
El patio es súper bonito y las escaleras hasta la primera planta son espectaculares, merece la pena visitarlo.
Se puede acceder de manera gratuita.
