Mas Masdeu

The owners were fantastic and lovely people. My wife had mobility problems during our visit which were not apparent when originally booked. We were quickly offered a more suitable room which we accepted made all the difference to our stay. The rooms in general were spotless cleaned every day. We chose to eat in the restaurant every night which took us out of our comfort zone. It was a case of this is what we have would you like to try it, we did and enjoyed all the food on offer. Best breakfast served on the sunny terrace right outside our room. Will visit again lovely area different to the traditional Spain we were use to but more importantly, the owners were delightful.

A very nice place food great and we had local white wine I am a very fussy eater but had no trouble.
When we arrive were given room up stair but hosts said to husband I have a room on grown floor which was great as now use a stick when all book I was fit .
DON'T GET PUT OF BY FIRST SIGHT AS IT PART OF A WORKING SMALL HOLDING AND A WORKI G TOWN

Lovely cozy place, absolutely quiet and with a really kind and helpful staff. Our bedroom was comfy, the bathroom unusually wide, windows over the Delta's orchards, everything sparkling clean. The dinner was all homemade and tasteful, mostly based on local products, nicely served, surprisingly cheap. The breakfast was splendid (some fruit, orange juice, homemade pastries and marmalade, bread, oil, tomato, eggs and other options, coffee...). We've felt at home.

It was a last minute booking when another hotel in L'Ampolla took exception to the size of our dog! Go figure. Surely you are either dog friendly or you are not! Bet they don't ask the size of their human guests in advance!!!

We arrived at Mas Masdeu within 30 minutes of booking it on line and everything just fell into place. The location in the countryside was ideal for us and our pooch, our bedroom was in a separate building with 3 beds and a shower you could hold a party in. The lady of the house served us a beautiful evening meal outside our room. It was delicious. We were so glad we were forced to find another hotel for the night. We unexpectedly discovered an absolute gem.

Very charming place. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Family and cozy atmosphere. We had great dinner including local specialities. Breakfast was nice too. We recommend!

This is a gem of a hotel, we stayed just for one night with our dogs on our way south and were welcomed warmly. The room was large and spotless and the meals we had were great. Dinner was simple, freshly cooked food with a choice of meat or fish and we had fresh eggs and bacon for breakfast.

We will certainly be returning every trip down to Spain from France

Hem utilitzat durant cinc dies de setembre de 2024 el mas Masdéu de l'Aldea com a base per a disfrutar del parc natural del Delta de l'Ebre, el Parc Natural dels Ports i els pobles d'Horta de Sant Joan (comarca de Terra Alta) i Beseit (comarca de Matarranya, Aragó).
Menjar: Esmorzars i sopars fantàstics (això s'agraeix especialment pq dinant en un restaurant força més car del Parc no hem menjat gaire bé).
Tracte: Familiar, molt bo.
Neteja: Correcte.
Espai: Cómode i espaiós, tant a dins com a fora. Es pot aparcar allà mateix perfectament.
Flora: El jardí és ampli i amb moltes plantes.
Elements culturals: Han sabut conservar les eines tradicionals que havia fet servir antigament aquest mas, molt ben equipat. Destaquen la sínia, la premsa d'oli, una enorme pedra per moldre i un munt d'estris típics del territori que li donen un gran caliu.
Aspectes a millorar: Res és perfecte enlloc, però si segueixen així ja n'hi haurà prou per tornar-hi.

Un posto incantevole dove trascorrere una vacanza. La colazione è memorabile, e anche la cena. Abbiamo cenato sempre nella struttura, ogni giorno un prodotto fresco che viene dal loro orto. Torneremo.

Hemos pasado cinco días muy agradables en el Delta del Ebro y a ello nos ha ayudado Cinta y Manolo con pequeñas atenciones.
Habitación espaciosa y cama muy cómoda. Desayunos ricos y abundantes, al igual que las cenas, que recomiendo hacer.
La casa se encuentra a 30 minutos de los puntos de interés que visitar de la zona por lo que recomiendo la estancia allí, por resultar muy cómoda.

Un lugar genial para descansar, muy tranquilo y ubicación ideal para desplazarte por todo el Delta del Ebro e ir a las calas de la zona sur de Tarragona. El desayuno es maravilloso, sandia y tomate del huerto, pan de pueblo, zumo natural...hacen unos bizcochos estupendos y te ofrecen huevos, quesos y embutidos de la zona.
Quizás la única pega sean las toallas de baño, muy desgastadas y el colchón que es muy blando.
Relación calidad precio inmejorable.
