El Gato Negro

Very nice accommodation. Historic house in the heart of Capileira. Just a few metres to the town square with cafes and restaurants. Good starting point for hikes in the Sierra Nevada. Guy and his sister are very nice and welcoming. Pictures are accurate. Highly recommend.

El gato negro is like living in a fairytale. Our stay was fantastic, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. We have been here for a week. The Alpujarras are amazing, Capileira is TOP! Don't forget to duck!😁

Hemos Estado durante este puente de Andalucía y ha sido el mejor acierto. Un apartamento encantador, con su chimenea de leña y un montón de extras que ya no suelen ser habituales en apartamentos de este tipo. Es superespacioso para 2 personas y tiene un encanto particular. Bravo por el gestor: cuando volvamos a Capileira definitivamente repetiremos.

Casita antigua encantadora y buen precio. Pueblo muy bonito de la Alpujarra Granadina, donde hay miradores con buenas vistas ( pues tiene una elevación de casi 1500 metros y por la noche es muy bonito cuando se ven las luces de otros pueblos en las montañas) además punto de partida de rutas de senderismo.

Preciosa casita rural dentro del centro de capileira ideal para parejas está en una preciosa placita llena de bonitas flores.....la casita es pequeñita pero con un encanto especial y la limpieza es impoluta y perfecta con ganas de volver

Hemos pasado una semana maravillosa en Gato Negro ,no nos faltó nada ,el paisaje ,la comida y todo el entorno es esplendido .

Idílico!!!

A cosy and well furnished cottage in a central location in a stunning mountain village. We stayed in January and were very snug. The cottage is well laid out, we enjoyed the two seating areas and the large bed was extremely comfortable. The booking process was straightforward and communication with the owner, both before and during our stay was first class. Capiliera is well located, both for walking from the village as well as a base for wider exploration of a beautiful part of Spain. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Capiliera - even in January - and nearby Bubion too. Overall, a brilliant week!
