South Coast Aventuras

A friend and I booked a private tour to Sierra Bermeja recently with Julio, from Southcoast Aventuras. The weather was gorgeous in the mountains (around 18-21 degrees celsius, in mid September). We spent over four hours walking and hiking through the forests and rocky summits of Sierra Bermeja. Seeing the pinsapo forest on Pico Los Reales was a true highlight. Julio was excellent at pointing out the different mountain ranges and villages from atop, and making sure we were safe. He adapted to our pace and provided great commentary along the entire route. The hike was mostly easy, with a few steep parts and some narrow, rocky trails at times. The trekking poles that our guide provided were very helpful!
The crisp and fresh air, the serenity, and the beauty of the landscape were liberating. It got cloudy towards midday and the scenery changed, yet remaining beautiful and now had an aura of mystery. We loved every bit of the way. Highly recommend this hike with an expert. It's very easy to get lost otherwise as some of the trails aren't well defined or marked. Southcoast Aventuras was a great discovery and I intend to use them again for other nature tours in Costa del Sol.

I booked this beginners canyoning trip for our family adventure on my birthday and it was the best canyoning adventure ever with our superb guide Robert! We had 3 hours of adventure, jumps, swimming through beautiful scenery, climbing, and absailing, with Robert we always felt safe and he guided us through everything, he knows what he is doing and can communicate very well, speaking perfect English! We all had a wonderful time, we had booked the 16 00-19:00 time! I can highly recommend this adventure during a stay in Malaga or surroundings!

We had a fantastic first time canyoning experience with Julio and Raúl. The trip was beautiful, not too difficult and very safe. It was very nice that the jumps were optional so everybody from my family felt relaxed and could enjoy the beautiful nature. Also great that they make all the pictures that we received free of charge after the trip. Loved it!

Our bike tour was AMAZING! Our tour guide, Pablo, was very accommodating and informative. Our tour took us through Old Town Estepona, with stops at churches, archeological sites and a small castle. I lost my phone and Pablo and the men at the bike shop went out of their way to help me find it.🎉🎉 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A really good well organised activity. We had an awesome time, the scenery was stunning and Julio the guide was great and very supportive. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and the photos are a really nice touch.

They are responsive and accommodating. The organiser seemed nice to talk with and he quickly addressed some of my concerns. During the tour, the guide was clear in his instructions. Good with English and Spanish. Very kind and accommodating as well. The tour itself was well-guided but take note that the canyons are slippery, and deep, so come prepared.

My friends and I had the best time doing this! The environment is very beautiful and our guides were very fun and experienced, and they made sure everyone felt safe at every moment. I would definitely do this again. If you love nature and a nice challenge this could be a fun experience for you. Thanks for the great time!

First time canyoning. Great fun and experience for the whole family. You don’t have to be experienced in the outdoors in any way to enjoy it. Raul our guide was fantastic. Kids loved him. Scenery and environment amazing

It was a fantastic experience with a very professional guide. This adventure is open to all levels ( this was our first canyonning). We had a great time with family and always felt very secure, with the guide checking on us constantly. The scenery is beautiful and should not be missed.

Hi, am Vitali. What a great time I had. I love nature, mountains and the big blue sky above. It was a fantastic experience. We had two excellent guides Julio and Raul, they were extremely friendly and helpful. We descended into the canyon's gorge and our adventure began. We started by jumping into the natural pool made by the running river. It was quite a deep pool of water, the highest point from which one could jump without any risk was about six meters high. After we carried on walking, swimming, and rock abseiling. This unforgettable canyoning experience lasted for a few hours. If you like all the above, I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes the outdoors adventures. :)

Great intermediate mountain bike guided tour out of Estapona and into the National park. Julio was a pleasure to deal with and was very helpful and informative as we peddled around. Myself and my partner had a great day on the bikes, 1 x E bike and 1 x Standard Mtb. Both varying levels of our mtb skills catered for perfectly.

We really had a good time with South Coast Adventures. We did their Via Ferrata close to the Genal Valley and the Sierra Bermeja. Julio and his colleague were real good guides showing us around. Definitely recommend their tours. We will definitely repeat!

These guys provide a great outing, focussed on ensuring a fun, safe experience. Have used them a few times now, and highly recommend.

I recently went on a hike with my work, having this company as our guides. Pablo was phenomenal, he was full of stories about the area together with historical information about Spain, it was incredibly interesting throughout and he ensured that we were all safe and enjoying ourselves every step of the way. I can’t imagine anyone would be able to do a better job than he did and I would thoroughly recommend.
