Taxi Órgiva (Antonio Noguerol)

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful short break staying at a cortijo (Cortijo Las Granadas) just outside Orgiva town. We both suffer from differing degrees of disability and were concerned - in view of the fact that the cortijo is wonderfully isolated - that we would be unable to get around. But we had nothing to fear because Antonio (whose taxi service we had booked in advance to take us from and to Granada Airport) was an absolute gem, being available to take us wherever we wanted to go and helping us overcome our mobility problems. He even had a ramp fitted into his larger vehicle so that we could take my mobility scooter with us when we needed to.
We have no reservations in giving Antonio the highest recommendation and hope that travelers - especially from the UK - who are visiting this amazing Andalusian town will employ Antonio for any trips long or short they want to make around the Alpujarra region. And there's no need to worry about language difficulties as Antonio's command of English put our meagre command of Spanish in the shade,
