The cleanest albergue I've ever stayed in! Lovely home-like atmosphere where they don't rush you out at 8am and you can truly rest and recharge. I wish I knew some Spanish to connect more and express how much they helped me with their hospitality and relaxed attitude 😊

Great hospitality!! A family owned little albergue.
Maria and a lovely elderly woman accommodated very well to my requests. Everyone can see that they are warmhearted and good nature. It was beautiful to touch people's kindness after walking long distance from Santander as a solo pilgrim.

The albergue was kept very clean and tidy and has nice mountain view. 15 euro for accommodation including breakfast and 2 euro for washing powder and laundry. The location is just along the way to Santillna del mar so you can just jump in when you feel exhausted on the way ( that was me. Lol )

The only downside is that they only have one shower room and toilet for 10 beds for female ( probably).
So it will be a bit stressful in high season. I was pretty lucky as I was the only guest at the night (early September).

Overall definitely will recommend to stay.

I'm so sorry! I went here in 2019 and promised to leave a positive review but never did! Can't remember the owners name but she saved my Camino! It started pouring down and my phone got water inside and stopped working. Thankfully, she managed to rescue it by putting it in a tub of rice and giving some cotton swabs. Cheap and practical place to stay, would recommend!

Friendly & clean. €10 for bed and basic breakfast of coffee or hot chocolate with a large piece of homemade sponge cake and an orange. Washer €1.50/ load. Two 10-bed dorms, garage for bikes. Lovely view across the valley. Also wheel chair accessible, unlike many hostels.

Very nice private pilgrim hostel! Highly recommend this. Super nice owner lady, very clean, very thought out, wifi, a kitchenette and washing machine. Sadly the Camino got changed a little bit away from this Town and Albuergue but it's worth the detour!!!

If you are a pilgrim I highly recommend you come here as it is quiet, exceptionally clean (including fresh sheets!) and has fly meshes over the windows/doors. There is a microwave and a small breakfast included in the €10 price. It is off the normal route but is quicker to go to Santa Del Mar.
This place is run by a lovely family, compared to those who run the municipal albergue in Santa del Mar who were quite rude.

This place was the Highlight of my Camino.
María and Pilar’s hospitality was a blessing, truly.
Affordable price, newly refurbished facilities.
Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for such a stay!

10$ for a night gets you a simple breakfast, hot showers, clean bathrooms and a good bed with blanket. Wifi available but very slow, washing clothes in the machine is 1,50$ Family that runs the albergue is very nice and communicating in English is a bit hard but manageable. Would recommend!
