Oliveras Restaurant

First time in Barcelona, and I ended in Besalu, where i found this lovely restaurant, recommended by locals. Their buffet was indeed a delicious spectacular choice of Mediterranean cousine, and their prices were very reasonable. Their staff was indeed very accommodated and serviceable to costumers.

This is great to go with your family or friends (or both). All you can eat buffet. All inclusive. Good quality, fantastic variety. On demand grill, unlimited drinks (wine, champers, beer, sodas,…). The 4 stars is from: the outside premises are a bit rundown and from my bias against places that make you feel guilty of your lack of self rsdtraint when presented with unlimited. Pretty nice buffet in Besalú. This is not like a regular buffet. It is like a fancy restaurant but in a buffet form.

They have lots of options, from salad to soup, croquettes or lots of spanish ham, cheese...

There is a section for first plates, other for main plates and one for dessert. There is also a section for spanish ham, where there is a person serving it.

I had some salad mix with bread as entrance, then some potatoes with alioli, and the main plate, croquettes with a patata d'olot and some sauces. Then I had some strawberries with cream.

You can also have unlimited drinks, from water to wine or limonchelo...

The food quality was surprisingly good, compared to the usual self service buffet food.

Today there was not much people, but usually a reservation is required since it is usually crowded.

Huge selection of their buffet, and we didn't know this before but there's unlimited free wine and water included in a very generous price of ~€12.50. Food isn't anything special but that's the compromise with a buffet, lots of things to try if it's your first time in Catalunya.

Incredibly good value buffet lunch. Fifteen euros gets you a huge array of meat and fish dishes, salads, cured meats and cheeses and desserts. And as much red, white rose, beers, waters as you can drink. All in a lovely garden terrace setting. Well worth a visit for lunch.

Went with a friend for lunch upon recommendacion from a local, everything was local, delicious, and top quality. Their was a waittwai there named Violetta who was very sweet to us and told us some more about the area. The goat's cheese and tomatoes actually tasted like they should. Even if you don't speak Catalan or Spanish, go here!

Unexpected arrived here and didn't know it was an all you can eat restaurant. Normally it's not our thing but the food was great and staff very hospitable! And besides that the price and scenery are perfect!

By very far the best buffet value in the world. What a selection of food. Wine and dessert liquers are all in the price of 11 euro per person.

Very tasty Mediterranean bufé lliura at unbeatable value. The restaurant has a nice garden open space. I recommend that you come here for a lunch

Fantastic buffet! Lots to choose from and great tasting food and all at an excellent price. Worth a visit but can be very busy in the summer.

Extremely good!! 😆 style 'buffet'. Excelente in every aspect. In price as in quelity. As they say in Spain: "bueno y barato".

For 15.50 eur you get great unlimited food and drinks especially when you are bikepacking
