I love this place. The food is always good and fresh and hot. Great atmosphere and top it all off with an ice cream. Go every summer at least once

A big, open aired restaurant that serves cheap and delicious food. Service was fast even tho the place was full of people.

The food is excellent value for the money. Very good service and atmosphere for all generations. Their icecream parlour is also a must with a play area for children to play.

Fantastic! Great value for money. Portions were perfect and tasted great. Service was friendly and professional. Clean and tidy. All in all a wonderful couple of hours.

This is a very typical Spanish eatery. Specialising in spit roasted chicken, chorizo, salchichas lomo magras etc. A decent bottle of wine is 3.00 Eur. Very quick service and deliciously cooked food. You can watch the cooking It's not posh, paper table cloths and basic cutlery etc, but your meal will cost around 10 euro. There's also an ice-cream parlour at the back with a play area for children. Only open from. Easter to the middle of September. It's an outdoor place.

The food is well priced and fast, but very traditional, decent quality and rich. This place is a local institution.

Very good. Fun choosing from menu as being non Spanish speaking it was a bit of a mystery tour.

Ci siamo fermati in questo Merendero grazie alle recensioni positive su Google e siamo rimasti davvero stupiti positivamente! L’area è molto ampia e le tavolate accoglievano gruppi di famiglie e amici. Siamo arrivati per le 20 e solo pochi tavoli non erano prenotati. L’area è suddivisa in due zone quella “servita” e quella a “self service”. Ci saranno state almeno 20 persone in cucina e altrettanti camerieri. Il merenderò nasce negli anni 60 e si specializza subito nel pollo arrosto. Esposte si trovano le foto dell’epoca. Notevoli anche le frittelle di baccalà. Servizio cortese e veloce, porzioni abbondanti, cibo preparato espresso e buonissimo. Nella stessa area dal lato “self service” presente anche la gelateria e un parco giochi per bambini con gonfiabili scivoli salterelli etc. Bagni puliti. Seggioloni presenti. Conto più che onesto. Consigliatissimo!

Merendero típico de la ciudad de Lorca en el corazón de la misma, en las alamedas. Es un sitio muy típico donde sirven comida de plancha muy rápidos. Suele siempre haber cola para entrar, aunque es un sitio con una gran cantidad de mesas.

La comida nos la trajeron muy rápido, ya que tienen mucho personal en cocina, la cual se puede ver ya que está al aire en el centro del recinto, y muchos camareros y camareras.

Todo estaba muy rico y el precio fue de unos 10€ por persona con bebida incluida. Nos pedimos varias tapas tipo chorizos, morcillas, bacalaos y demás y de bebida jarras de sangría y cervezas.

Si pasas por Lorca es un sitio al que se ha de ir aunque sólo sea para verlo una vez.
