Amidst the picturesque landscape of Penàguila, the "Jardín de Santos" is an unusual and delightful retreat that beckons visitors to immerse in the charm of a bygone era. Stepping into this enchanting garden feels like stepping back in time to the refined elegance of the 19th century.

The garden boasts a captivating array of features that promise a feast for the senses. As you wander through the curated pathways, you'll encounter an orchid room bursting with vibrant hues and delicate fragrances.

In the centre of the garden is the expansive rectangular pool, teeming with gracefully gliding fish that add a sense of tranquility to the surroundings. It's a perfect spot to pause and admire the reflection of the surrounding scenery.

A maze on the left side presents a challenge, and will have youngsters running around full of excitement. Navigating the narrow passageways, the thrill of discovery awaits at the maze's heart.

The garden's lush canopy of towering trees provides shade and serenity, inviting visitors to linger and savour the peaceful ambiance. Nestled at the garden's edge, a charming folly in the form of a small grotto adds a whimsical touch, seamlessly weaving the garden into the fabric of 19th-century elegance.

The attentive staff offer a warm hospitality and ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed and well-cared for. Their passion for the garden's history and beauty is evident, adding an extra layer of depth to the overall experience.

While the manor house may have faded into history, the museum now housed within its walls offers a glimpse into the past, providing visitors with a basic yet informative overview of the garden's rich heritage. The Spanish-only audiovisual projection adds a cultural touch, inviting visitors to delve deeper into the region's history.

Beyond the garden's confines, the picnic area and nature walk beckon, offering opportunities for leisurely exploration and immersion in the surrounding natural beauty. The walk unfortunately shows signs of serious disrepair, though it still retains a rustic charm.

Finca con variedad de especies de árboles y arbustos bien cuidada. Tiene el aliciente del laberinto de cipreses para peques y grandes.

En la casa hay información sobre la historia del jardín, algo de bibliografía de Enric Valor (rondalles) y herramientas de campo de la época.

Atención al horario, aunque es gratuita la entrada, no siempre está abierta.

Junto al Jardín hay área recreativa "libre" con columpios, mesas, bancos, fuente y barbacoa. También hay un chiringuito, aunque estaba cerrado (sábado de marzo).

Lindo lugar para pasar la mañana de un fin de semana. Muy tranquilo para dar un paseo y disfrutar de la naturaleza

Bonito lugar para relajarse y hacer rutas, zona de mesas para pickni bien acondicionado, arbol de cerezas...😊 en la misma area...

El paseo desde el pueblo es muy bonito. El sitio para ir con niños está bien pero hay algunos detalles importantes a mejorar como el orquidiario que está abandonado y la jaula de pájaros de plástico que no queda bien.

Un sitio agradable con gran potencial pero algunas zonas como el orquidario muy poco cuidadas y en el parque de niños hay columpios rotos.
Pero de forma general es muy recomendable ver y se requiere poco tiempo para visitarlo, salvó que se quiera ver toda la finca.
