Stayed here with my girlfriend just after Christmas and we really enjoyed it! I wanted to do some star photography, she wanted to see some castles and we both wanted to eat!

Slept very well, and our room has a fantastic view!
It was clean, service was great and the food in the restaurant delicious! (Breakfast was very basic though)

There’s also good food in the village which we enjoyed tremendously.

My only regret is not being able to speak Spanish to communicate better with all the lovely people I met.

What a LOVELY place! Fabulous view of the Velez Blanco town and the white mountains. I am American, and have been living in Europe for a few years now. I was in the hospitality industry back home for the better part of my adult career and I’ll be honest it’s culture shock for me the way hospitality is in Europe. We consider the European style horrible service. You get ignored, no refills, they don’t pick up plates, etc at almost every place I have eaten. A few have been exceptions, and this one truly was one of them. They take good care of you here, they are super professional but still nice to you, they come and check on you and see if you need anything from time to time. The food is fabulous, all the dishes are amazing except for the lobsters. They are the size of a crawfish lol and they just serve them on a plate no tools to crack them open nothing lol you are just expected to figure it out. No thanks! Otherwise they serve some of the best food I’ve had in Spain especially the beef dishes like their steak is one of the best I’ve had in my life. Literally and that is saying a LOT. Good pork too! They also serve delish cafe con leches and mega sweet and fresh orange juice. This place is gorgeous inside and out you have to eat here if you are ever in the area.

A unique venue of Spanish rural charm . Very traditional in decor as well as in tapas & breakfast on offer . Realky enjoyed our stay in the hotel which is set in the most fabulous scenery. Our hostess Rosa was a sheer delight . We will be back .

Love the restaurant & the fresh seasonal seafood, and the Rabo de Toro (oxtail stew) good quality & choice, have not stayed in the hotel, as we're local.but the bar has a rustic charm & great choice of beer wine & spirits.

Lovely spot, amazing old building really traditional and sensitively converted. Great team of people can’t do enough to be helpful and look after their guests every need. Try to get a room at the front, with the most incredible views

The place is important, the castle and the cave of the latreras is only one of the history.

Ate there Saturday afternoon meeting friends we haven't seen for ages ...what a delightful place the food was delicious and the staff efficient and friendly . Will certainly be going back and very soon ...

Buen servicio, limpieza ,atención y buena cocina precios asequibles.Lo único la señal de televisión deficiente para algunos canales y señal wifi también.

Precioso hotel rural con unas vistas espectaculares en Vélez Blanco. Al lado del castillo de los Fajardo, y la cueva de los Letreros.
La montaña de la Muela se alza justo enfrente y es lo primero que ves desde el balcón al levantarte. La vista es inmejorable.
Todo el hotel es rústico así como los habitaciones y el restaurante dónde se puede disfrutar de un buen ambiente con los platos tradicionales de la comarca. Los dueños son súper amables y la comida está deliciosa.

Una gran sorpresa. No te lo puedes perder.
Aparcamiento gratuito delante del hotel.

Vistas increíbles. El hotel es antiguo y quizás tenga que renovarse, pero está limpio, cama grande y habitaciones grandes. La comida está aceptable, bastante mejor apariencia que las fotos de su web. Servicio amable y profesional.

Muy bien situado para llegar facilmente. Muy acogedor. Cuando fuimos nosotros sí había personal por la noche en recepción. Hay aire en la habitaciones, que además era amplia al igual que el cuarto de baño. Nos dieron un estupendo desayuno. Lo ideal es que esta en una zona muy tranquila y por la noche no se escucha nada que interrumpa el descanso. Y todo el personal super amable. La unica pega es que la señal de wifi no llega a todas las habitaciones; deberían poner antenas que amplificaran la señal.

Uno de los mejores sitios al que ir para desconectar del mundo y poder recargar pilas. Su personal es magnífico, muy atentos en todo momento. El pueblo es encantador, por no hablar de las magníficas vistas desde la habitación del hotel. Lo recomiendo al 100% a todo aquél que desee escapar de las aglomeraciones de las grandes ciudades.

Maravilloso! Es muy acogedor, la decoración está muy cuidada. El trato del personal es exquisito. Son extremadamente amables y atentos, y te hacen sentir muy agusto. La cafetería del hotel está muy bien. Buena comida a muy buen precio y con bastante afluencia y buen ambiente. Las vistas del hotel son muy buenas también y el pueblo de Vélez blanco es bonito y está muy cuidado. El castillo es espectacular. Recomendable al 200%

En general todo muy bien, una experiencia muy grata, todo muy limpio, especialmente la ropa de cama, toallas muy bien cuidadas, cama espaciosa y comoda, el personal muy atento y con el detalle de calentar la habitación extra por si eramos frioleros y la calefacción se quedaba corta. Buenas vistas al valle y el pueblo a dos minutos andando.

Zu unserem Zeitpunkt alles gut, denke aber wenn es voll ist wird es ungemütlich da es sehr sehr hellhörig ist. Die Betten sind für den einen oder anderen auch nicht so doll. BW lässt grüßen. Der Empfang war super und der morgendliche Kaffee auch!
Dennoch hatte ich zwei gute Nächte.
