Carrefour Market

This is a big supermarket by Spanish standards with everything you would need to supply your holiday apartment - easy walk from the beach.

Really good CM! You can find almost all what you need . Gifs Cards /ps plus/apple store only available in a large supermarket.

Over the years this supermarket has changed its name and extended its opening hours.

Mind you, there's still a touch of Andalucia about the latter - I once asked whether they opened at 9.15 or 9.30, as they had both times displayed. "We open at 9.15 or 9.30", was the reply, "It depends". "Depends on what?" I said. I received a funny look. "It depends on what time we open the door" was the answer. :-)

I'll add that they now open from 9 in the morning until 10 at night, Monday to Saturday, with some opening on Feasts and bank Holidays.

They changed around the whole of the inside about a year ago, took me a while to get used to it, but it works well. They have a good fish counter (although not as good as Mercadona up the street), and a meat counter with a butcher on hand. Good value too.

The one downside is the lack of staff, they are all running around trying to unpack deliveries, stack shelves, answer customer queries AND man the tills. So there are queues . . . The thing to do is to avoid the peak times - especially dropping off and picking up the children from the 3 Primary Schools within spitting distance.

If you travel in Europe and come across Carrefour don't hesitate to step inside you might be surprised what you will find! Great grocery store and very good prices!

I'm adding a 5 star rating because this Carrefour, at least, is excellent at providing Gluten Free food especially breads, cakes and more. Everything else in the supermarket is good quality too and we got everything we needed easily.

Great place to shop if you are staying in Estepona for more than a couple of days. They have everything, and after the upgrade of the store it became even better. Great fresh foods, good selection of beer, wine and spirits.

Good selection of food and staff very pleasant and smiling.

Recently remodelled. Good quality a big shopping trolley ends up being pricy but they have a " chequeahorro" in which you can accumulate an 8% of your total purchase in order to spend it on what you like. Club carrafour is called.

Great store, good deals but lacking in vegan options.

Close. Convenient and comparatively cheap when compared to some stores around here.

This market is always in good condition, clean, much variety of food and house supplies bakery, meat department and pescados.
Locate on Central estepona by Dancers rotonda.

Has everything, but be careful with the offers , sometime its better to buy just one else where
