Mercadona

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Mercadona Supermarket during our stay in Malaga from August 5th to 12th. Despite the language barrier, they were incredibly helpful and professional, using a translator to assist us efficiently.

The quality of the fruit in Malaga is truly exceptional, far surpassing what we find in the UK. I'm tempted to fill my suitcase with pineapples and biscuits on my next visit!

The seafood selection is mind-blowing, even for someone like me who doesn't consume pork or lamb. The meat variety is of top-notch quality, and I couldn't resist capturing the impressive display.

For those with lactose tolerance concerns, Mercadona offers Sin Lactose (lactose-free) milk and butter on the shelf, not in the fridge. Although they don't have garlic butter, I improvised and made my own while cooking for a group of 20.

While they don't carry custard, the supermarket boasts a vast array of products. I brought my own spices, but they have a good selection of English-based spices, though fewer exotic flavors.

I wholeheartedly recommend Mercadona Supermarket for its diverse offerings and exceptional service.

It's fine for a quick or long shop, the staff customer service has improved a lot over the last couple of years. The range of ready meals has grown. Good range of fresh veg, fruit, meats & fish.

Prices are decent, and have a wide selection of goods. Freshly baked breads and pastries also available.

Just arrived in the area and went for our shopping - this place was amazing - I had to ask a few times where things were - every member of staff were so helpful and polite - smiling - please thank them all - a credit to your shop. The shop was spotless and everything was well stocked. Thank you Mercadona

This supermarket is amazing .
It is immaculately clean, well run and always fully stocked whatever time I shop.
The staff are amazing , smartly turned out, and clearly well trained .
If there is a line at the checkout they will open another so you don't queue too long . They all seem like they enjoy their work .
I'm an English person living in the town with little Spanish but I always try to speak what I know . They always smile and don't mind too much . Which is so nice.
I used to work for a very well known supermarket in the UK and I know it's a tough business to be in . I'm so impressed by the standard in this particular store .
I can't commend the staff enough and I'm delighted that this supermarket is in the town .

VERY nice Mercadona hamburger for only 3€

We shop there every week. They are quick to open extra tills so queuing is minimal, in fact there was no queue at the till today. The staff arevery friendly and helpful.

Visiting fro England and found this store had a great variety of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Good choice of items even some english products available Heinz ketchup ,plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, also good selection of meats

Great local supermarket in Alhaurin El Grande

Always well stocked, usually items where they can easily be found. Fresh produce always very good, fish counter excellent.

Really the best supermarket in Alhaurin. The largest selection of products. Still, I do not recommend their vegetables and some fruits, as they taste like plstic. Shop those at a local Fruteria :-)

Supermarket that has virtually everything you need. No problems, staff friendly and helpful, even in pigeon Spanish. Recommended

This supermarket is a great place to buy any type of food , it has a very wide selection of items to purchase too , it is very loud thought sometimes it can be chill
