Recommended by our local tour guide, Elite was as described, nice traditional food at reasonable prices. After a goats cheese and watermelon starter, we had beef liver which was beautifully soft and a local mince meat dish which was totally new to me. We had paired wines which were tasty and went wonderfully with the dishes. Service was efficient and professional. Would recommend.

traditional Finnish restaurants. Although it was a bit expensive, but all meals were delicious and good. We were satisfied with this dinner. I want to go there again with my family.

Excellent restaurant with classic recipes and atmosphere. Ambience is great and the restaurant space has been kept in excellent confidition while honoring traditions.

Portion sizes are also generous, wine selection pretty good and ingredients of high quality.

What a lovely visit in one of the classic restaurant in Helsinki. Artist restaurant with it's own special atmosphere didn't betray this time either. Excellent service, delicious food and drinks, what can I say? 10 points!

This was the first restaurant I ate in Helsinki and I was not disappointed :)
The place is beautifully decorated and the staff is friendly, there is also a terrace for smokers.
I had salmon soup and sirloin steak and both were tasty. I also tasted the veal liver and was one of the best i ve ever eaten.
I definitely recommend this place if you like some good food 😜

I liked that this place had great food, great location (not crowded and quiet), and great staff. The waiter was very friendly, he made me feel like I was talking to my neighbor back home.

High quality but relaxed traditional restaurant with vibrant history. Locally inspired cuisine and long time familiar faces in the staff. Solid package. As an very rare specialty a sigar room available. Look especially for flambee weeks and lodge tables.

This is a classic restaurant of Helsinki, I had one of the most popular dishes "Tauno Palon kermainen sipulipihvi", that has been in the menu since long time ago, and I totally recommend it.
As dessert the Crème brûlèe is exquisite!.

It's like to be in some other country and all the 🖼 make you fell comfortable. They have good 🍷and food. Terrace in summer evenings is so beatyfull.

We were there at 17:30 on a Thursday night and the place was packed. Atmosphere was great but waiters are in a big rush. Food was good 👌🏻

As my Finnish colleague explained: "eli te" means "so called tea" in Finnish. It refers to the origins of the restaurant in the 1930s during prohibition. The restaurant had remained the same and wonderful Art Deco details remain. Although not the cheapest of places, you way very well and the staff is very attentive, also in English.

Great evening at this historic Helsinki restaurant. Excellent hearty food, and we were served wonderfully by the enthusiastic Veera who made our evening special.

White tablecloth, impeccable service and good traditional food in a nice relaxed atmosphere... We enjoyed our visit very much!
