Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna, Seinäjoki

I've tried all the hotels in Seinäjoki and this one is my favourite.

The location is excellent, downtown, easy to find and with its own underground safe parking (8€ per 24 hrs). There are places to recharge electric cars.
There are small shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants and bars around the hotels within walking distance.

The staff has all the time been very nice and helpful. I had a standard room this time and it was very quiet and clean.
Shower and toilet inside the bathroom and inside the room, an iron + ironing table, a safe box, a kettle with free tea and coffee facilities, a TV, a desk and a small sofa.
I regret they have removed the minibar, they could have left the fridge empty, it could have been practical to store fresh drinks in summer.

On the second floor, there is a free sauna and a small gym with enough equipment to train.

The breakfast buffet was very good, there is everything you need to fill your stomach.

I really recommend this hotel, especially if you go by car and want a safe and warm place to park in winter.

I liked this hotel very much. Its location is convenient, the staff are really friendly, the rooms clean with good beds and nicely designed with local influences (with an interesting explanation of where all the furniture was originating from - much from entrepreneurs in the neighborhood). Also the breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of choices (+ actual paper newspapers!), and, enough competent staff and common-sense logistics to avoid chaos at busy breakfast times (which happens all too often even at ‘luxurious’ hotels). Highly recommended!

Stayed here a few times already, rooms are clean. Parking is easy under the hotel and you are in the middle of the city. You can walk everywhere for a drink or some food.

Stayed here for our first night in Finland for a Ponsse factory and EPEC factory tour. Excellent clean and quiet rooms, the breakfast was also very good!

I came for the Provinssi festival. Service was good. Patient and polite. The location festival wise was good. We could walk easily or there was a festival bus also available. They had arranged a larger room which was excellent. The garage for parking was spacious and easy acces. Our room was quiet and clean.
The breakfast was Ok. The glutein free section was Ok too. I'm not such a bacon person so I only speak for myself. The coffee was good.

Food is between excellent and brilliant in this pricegroup. Waaay best food in Seinäjoki so far.

This is the hotel with gym but if you stay in the other Original Sokos Hotel, they let you use the facility.
