A most lovely hotel on the sea. Relaxing and a charming experience. The staff aims to please, even when we showed up to eat and had not had a reservation.They said st. Malo is the most beautiful city in Bretagne and It surely is.

Beautiful hotel, well maintained, staff is great. It feels like it’s own little universe with all the elevators and different areas to discover. Stunning bar for a drink with a view.

This is what I wrote in 2019: "A lovely old building, part art deco, right on the sea front, wonderful oldy worldy atmosphere, lovely personnel.. There are two restaurants, both very good and a spa next door. I loved this place." I stayed again for a week in 2022.
I have just stayed for a short while with my partner. Loved it again. Almost everything about it is excellent. I have not rated service: reception and luggage excellent, room service and cleanliness excellent, bar service excellent, terrasse service good, restaurant Cap Horn, awful. Sommelier unbelievably offhand and rude, service slow, Roxanne surly, and scraping food off plates to stack them at the table, Zoe attentive and excellent. Food not really up to the standard of the hotel. We sat down at 8pm, had our main course on the table at 9.30pm, left table at 10.30pm. A really disappointing end to our stay.

Beautiful hotel with first class staff and amenities. Loved our room facing the beach with our own private porch and outdoor table and lounge chairs. Definitely a treat and I hope to have the good fortune to come back again

The service is impeccable, the staff is very professional, energetic but with humor in their demeanor. They go out of their way to make the hosts relax and feel at home. The hotel has outstanding baby care, the location can't be beat (next to the beach) and the restaurant offers wide variety of food (seafood, meats, soups, salads, desserts) of high quality. I recommend the hotel highly.

Le Grand Hotel de Thermes is an outstanding palace in term of quality of thalasso treatments and accommodation services. A refined cuisine run with inspired chefs and very qualified staff. We highly recommend it to all who are looking for health treatments or peaceful leisure.

I went for the thalasso treatments but we have friends who come just for the hotel. A beautiful place with friendly and professional staff. I loved the way they fussed over my Westie. Oh, and the spa is fabulous.

a little bit disappointed by the reception on our arrivals (except for the voiturier, who was very professional and friendly), this first bad impression has been quickly wiped out by the fantastic room with the beautiful view on the sea (with an excellent acoustic isolation), the outstanding meal in the restaurant Le Cap Horn, and the 3 days of cocooning at the thalasso's center.
If the question was: would you come back again? Definitely, the answer would be YES...

With a grand neoclassical facade, this stately 19th-century spa hotel is set on Sillon Beach. It's 5 km from the Great Aquarium Saint-Malo and 2 km from 17th-century Fort National.

Contemporary rooms have minibars and flat-screen TVs. Upgraded rooms add sea views, and suites add extra rooms.

Breakfast and dinner are available (fee), and there are 3 restaurants (some with sea views) and a bar. There's also access to a spa with an indoor saltwater pool, a steam room and a sauna. Spa treatments are available (fee). Other amenities include a kids' activity program and private parking (fee).

We stopped at Le Grand Hotel des Thermes right after our wedding weekend for a couple of days. We enjoyed the thalasso, the seafood on the waterfront, the very attentioned staff ... Great getaway for a few days off the radar !

Beautiful hotel, sophisticated furnished rooms, elegant surroundings. Room with a sea view well worth it and the spa services were devine!
