B&B Hôtel Compiègne

We stayed at the hotel after our car broke down on the way to Calais. The reception staff made us and our dog feel so welcome during a very stressful time.
Reception staff and the manager very kindly helped us communicate with the garage fixing our car, and advised us on facilities in the local area including car hire. They also helped us book an appointment with the local vet for his worming treatment and called me a taxi when I returned to the UK.
My husband and dog stayed an extra nine nights in total due to delays with the garage receiving an incorrect car part (twice) and during that time, they were both supported to feel comfortable. The hotel is very dog friendly with treats on the desk. My husband was given a late checkout on the day of his departure, and the manager even held a room for him in case of further delays.
The staff really could not have done more for us and we very much appreciate their kindness, efficiency and professionalism. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Please make the breakfast a little hotter and larger plates and bigger shower screen and towels in the bathroom. Apart from that it is just what you need, no hassle at all.

The fish and chip brasserie next door gives a 10% discount and is well worth a visit. Beautiful food.

We (mum, dad, 2 children) stayed here for one night only on our way back to Germany. Especially the giftbags for the kids left quite an impression. The room was spacey, there was even an extra bed for the little one. The night was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast served our needs: we were hungry...

Overall the stay was pretty good for the money. The window was not correctly installed so the outside road sound was leaky. My bed had a minor issue. Noticed someone's hair on the mattress sheet under the pillow but other than that, it was pretty good. Breakfast wasn't super fancy but again for the money, it's pretty decent. So I will be back for the B&B brand hotel again.

Perfect one night stopover for us. Warm welcome, clean hotel and rooms. We didn’t hear another person once we settled down for the night. Would recommend.

The hotel was everything we expected. Clean & modern with friendly, helpful staff. We only stayed one night on our way to the Dordogne.
Places to eat were nearby although the town centre was too far to walk.

The hotel is in a good location, with secure parking. The receptionist was very polite and friendly and gave us clear instructions. The room was excellent , very clean and modern, great shower and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was great there was a good choice of food. Overall could not fault this hotel we would highly recommend. .

Really clean hotel with good bed sheets and a strong shower. There was enough room for our travel cot in the double room and we didn’t hear anything from our neighbours.

Breakfast was good although the eggs are kept right next to the bacon under the same lid so they aren’t exactly vegetarian friendly. The eggs also won’t be free range until 2025! Seems odd to advertise that they will be free range eventually.

We arrived late and couldn’t get through the side gate to check in with the machine. We ended up having to call the hotel next door who then opened the car gate so we could get into the car park. After that the machine check in was smooth.

I loved the hotel itself. The employees were very attentive and kind. The space itself is very modern, cozy, and very clean. Large windows on the ground floor give it that spacious feeling. If you are travellingg as a couple or alone I strongly recommend it.

Simple but good hotel. Rooms are small but clean and the bed is comfortable. For breakfast there are great croissants and pain au chocolate. Also cereal and scrambled eggs and bacon (both heavily undercooked). Coffee and juice.

Super easy place to stay and a great short drive to the beautiful city centre, highly recommend the hotel for its clean and efficient nature. Perfect for a one night stay.

It was a very neat hotelroom. The badroom was very clean and it smelled delicious!!
We had breakfast and it was fine. We can choose about a lot of different things to eat.
We are definetely comming back!!

Short distance to A1 motorway.
2 restaurants just beside the hotel .

If you use a blanket in a baby bed that you should bring it with you.(we used an extra towel that we arranged at the reception.)
