Just like a fairy tale town. After making memories in wonderful souvenir shops in this closed island town in the middle of the sea, you can relax by eating delicious fish in a very elegant restaurant.

Love this place, visited many times.
Lovely experience, listening to musicians and strolling along the cobble pathway, lots of lovely shops and places to eat.
I would recommend a visit here.

So beautiful place to visit, I think summer time is better. Winter time is not bad.

Lovely place. You can walk along the ramparts which has wonderful views of the surrounding area. Lots of shops to browse through and good restaurants and creperies. There are performers on different parts from jugglers to guitarists and even a didgeridoo player. Well worth a visit.

We went on a week day, at the end of July. Finding parking midday was a nightmare. Maybe earlier in the morning would be easier. The closed city itself is a must-see. Very beautiful place, lots of little shops and restaurants. You can get spoiled with treats there. Walking around the walls gives stunning views. The entrance is free.

The closed city of Concarnau is a lovely place to wander. It's not that huge, and it's quite authentic. There are paid parking places nearby. For the most part, it's available by wheelchair and buggy. The viewpoints, however, aren't. There are a few restaurants and gift shops and there are enough places to sit down and take a moment. It can be very crowded.

Such a magical experience coming here after many years away. This place is such a rare beauty. There’s tons of local shops and restaurants and everyone here is so lovely and kind. I came on a rainy/stormy day with my family and we were some of the very few people there. A lot of the places were closed (we came in early December) but that didn’t bother us very much as we were there for the rich history.

Really amazing place, very nice view of the harbour. Full of nice restaurants just consider that most of them serve dinner after 19:00. Nearby beaches to swim.

Sadly we visited twice when it rained but we enjoyed the walk round and the little shops inside the walls. Enjoyed our lunch in a little cafe before walking through town.

A magical walk through the ramparts and the medieval streets. Boutiques, souvenir shops and restaurants galore. Very crowded, which is to be expected in July and August.

The "Ville Close" is very cute and has many historical buildings. You find lots of shops and restaurants. Definitely a place to visit though it tends to get a bit crowded.

This place still has a lot of authentic charm and delicious galettes. Also good concerts in the evening near the ferry.

Go to the waterfront, there is an old fort that looks like a small castle with a bridge going to it.
You cross onto the fort thinking you're going to some old Fort, and you are. But it was literally like a scene from Harry Potter because there is a vibrant shopping street suddenly in front of you as well as the old battlements overlooking the harbour. We really enjoyed it

Such a pretty place to visit. Old streets and old buildings give a nice mood.
There are a lot of creperies, ice cream shops and souvenir shops. Moreover the fact that we can walk on the ancient rampart is great!

Loved visiting the citadel city of Carcaneau. Plenty of lovely places to eat and shop. Walk the city walls for amazing views of the fishing port and surrounding area. There's even a couple of small beaches, at low tide.

Great place to visit. Truelly old town centre. Only thing i do not like is that in every house is a restaurant or shop.

We absolutely loved this place. We went exploring with our 2 young children...found lots of rock pools but as we walked around the bay, we found the walled town which had lots of boutique shops, places to eat & drink and also you could walk around part of the wall which enabled you to see all of the boats on the port. Would definitely recommend going here
