Océarium Croisic

This Aquarium is absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully designed.
All the displays are very
colorful and lit up perfectly for viewing.
They also have soothing music playing in the background as you watch the different sea life gracefully swimming about.
They have a shark, stingray and penguin area.
There are stations for kids to interact and play with to keep them busy as they move about the aquarium.
We visited on a rainy weekday so there were no crowds to deal with and you could easily move about the aquarium.
Lastly, they have a great gift shop where you can purchase nice gifts to take back with you.
If you are visiting in and around Le Croisic France, I highly-recommend this aquarium.

Fantastic place, the layout is brilliant and easy to navigate, ensuring you get the best views of the creatures. Lots of information on the animals and how the ocearium is supporting conservation efforts. A great range of sealife to see - I really could have stayed here all day!!
The only small downside is that there is no cafe, or even a vending machine to get a drink or snack, we had travelled just over an hour to the ocearium and could have done with a drink at least.
We visited as an extended family ranging in age from 15 - 79 and every one of us loved it.

Such a beautiful place, stunning exhibitions and appropriately calm music playing in the background (but not too loudly). I can't believe they have such awesome animals here in the Croisic.

Nice place to see and learn something about sealife. Perfect for children too. Has some feeding, a little map to show you around and a little shop where you could buy souvenirs.

Really good for kids of all ages.
Go early in the day mind as the outdoor animals do little in the heat.

Second time visiting and it only got better! Sharks alone are well worth the visit and there are plenty of other spectacular creatures to admire.

Great aquarium located in the charming port city of Le Croisic. There are plenty of fish to see from all over the world. We especially love the two huge tanks with sharks and manta rays. Been there three times and will definitely visit again when we're again in the region.

We had a beautiful experience, so much to see, from little seahorses to beautiful sharks, there is an auditorium that faces the shark tank and someone explaining everything about them. We could see how they feed the pinguins while teaching people about them. It is
quiet at this time of year and it was great for our 1 year old to walk around and see all the different fish and sea animals.

As it is the off season we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Fantastic visit with lots of interesting animals and the nursery was great.

Great place for a visit with kids, but not only! We were sad that we missed the feeding of the octopus, but thankfully, the penguins are fed twice a day, so that was fun.
You can spend 2-3 hours there.

Lovely aquarium - not massive but enough of interest to keep two kids (8,6) busy for an afternoon.
